In the wake of the NFL domestic violence scandal, and NY Times TV critic Alessandra Stanley’s article calling Shonda Rhimes an angry Black woman, the way society views Black Women has come to the forefront.

Monday on “NewsOne Now,” Roland Martin shared his views about how African American women are treated in society. Martin challenged Black men to stand up when they see Black women being mistreated, especially when it comes to domestic violence and the way Black women are being targeted in corporate America.  Martin went on to say, the African American community must let the powers that be know, if they mistreat sisters, we’re are not going to be silent about it.
