Jack-Lyn Blake (pictured) was all over a jive turkey this Thanksgiving. She reportedly lost it because her boyfriend, Benjamin Smith, had begun eating their Thanksgiving Day meal without her because she was asleep.  When Blake woke up and realized she had missed out on the culinary festivities, she allegedly grabbed a knife, chased Smith around the dinner table, then stabbed him.  The miffed girlfriend is now facing a slew of charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and making terroristic threats according to The Smoking Gun.

The Web site reports that when Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania police officers responded to the call about the alleged stabbing and arrived at the couple’s residence, Blake was exiting the premises and on her way out reportedly admitted to attacking Smith with a knife.  “I stabbed him,” the 47-year-old woman confessed to police investigators.

Smith told investigators that he and Blake had gotten into a heated argument earlier in the day. He claimed that his beau had been drinking excessively and decided to take a nap.  When she awoke to find Smith already eating the holiday spread without her, things took a bloody turn. According to Smith, Blake grabbed a knife and allegedly stabbed at him a number of times before making contact with his chest.  She then threw the knife at him and it swiped his face.

Smith was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his wounds.

Blake is currently behind bars at the Luzerne County jail and is expected to be arraigned at a later date.
