A King has entered the Fox house.

Dr. Alveda King is Fox News Channel’s latest contributor. The conservative minister, author and daughter of Martin Luther King’s younger brother, A.D. King, will be a regular contributor across the network’s daytime and primetime blocks, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

“Alveda has brilliantly carried the legacy of the King family to the next generation and has been a source of inspiration for many Americans,” said Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes in an announcement. “Her passion and mission for social change will be a valuable contribution to our network.”

Dr. King’s conservative stance is more line with Martin King’s daughter Bernice, versus her aunt Coretta Scott King, who was a supporter of gay marriage. Her conservative values are solid, says the Hollywood Reporter:

Serving just one term Georgia’s House of Representatives (between 1979 and 1981), King has been outspoken against abortion and LGBT rights in America. In 2012, she publicly denounced the NAACP’s vote to endorse same-sex marriage.

She comes to the network with a résumé that includes status as a senior fellow at Howard Center for Family, and she belongs to the National Black Pro-Life Coalition (NBPC), the Coalition of African American Pastors and the Judeo-Christian Coalition for Constitutional Restoration.
