Nearly eight months after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her Georgia home, authorities say they have determined her cause of death.

But the medical examiner is mum on details in the death of Brown, who passed away just two months ago after spending time in a hospital and then hospice care after she was discovered face-down in the bathtub earlier this year. It’s unclear if the specifics surrounding Brown’s death will ever come to light, but at this time, authorities have decided to seal the autopsy report.

From CNN:

“The Fulton County Medical Examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death,” the office said in a September 25 press release. “However, a Fulton County Superior Court Order dated September 25, 2015 has been received Sealing the Autopsy Report and ordering the Medical Examiner to not release any further information to the public.”

Though we don’t know what exactly happened to Brown — whose own mother, Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub three years ago — Brown’s estate has pointed to the 22-year-old’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon. A $40 million lawsuit was filed by the estate accusing Gordon of knocking out Brown’s teeth, stealing money, dragging her by her hair and beating her after an “all-night cocaine and drinking binge,” CNN reports.

Gordon is also accused in the lawsuit of giving the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown a “toxic cocktail.”

Earlier this month, Gordon’s lawyers asked that the wrongful death lawsuit be dropped, calling the accusations “slanderous.”
