Is it just me or there’s no statistics on race base demographics like all school has.Makes you wonder why she gets paid as much as she does.

this is a great individual accomplishment, but to whose expense?

1)what’s the percentage of the black and brown incoming students and overall school population?
2)what’s the rate of the aforementioned between the two genders?
3)what’s the retention rate?
4)availability of financial aid?
5)Student’s debt after graduation?

For all the black women that say black men are jealous and need to get their own piece of the pie, need to do research. Look at Corp America, Prof Sports teams coaches, doctors , US Presidents Supreme Court Justices (past and presemt) and oh yeah college prez. Just because everytime it happens its not a major story don’t mean it doesn’t happen. Also check the head of the US military Colin Powell.

as a black woman it feels good to see this. This was 1 of the schools I was looking at when I was researching schools. She may not have the HIGHEST graduation rate but its VERY good. Jackson has actually done A LOT for the school. I especially love what she did with the research programs especially in the Biosciences. Majority of my friends that landed jobs as hydrologists and other environmental scientists and biotechnology related professions have researched there and made major connects and got ridiculous hookups on stuuuuupid salaries. But anywhozy, I think shes been doing a great job and I like the fact that she has a passion for science!

Blaque ivory, you sound just like the stereotypical female who takes anything personal. Everybody has a right to their opinion or views in the world. I’m not nere to please anybody on BP and gonna speak my mind regardless. I was commenting from school and I’m a college student myself. What’s there to be jealous about? A sucessful woman doesn’t bother me one bit. I just hate b/itches who have to alienate everybody around them because they are “successful.” Blaque ivory, you’re just like that woman ironically named Ivory on “I want to work for Diddy” season 2.

I dont care who it is male or female, black or ashy, u dipsticks get on my nerves

Sometimes I comment from school (like now) or sometimes from home, You’re telling people not to judge as you judge them.

That tends to be a bit confusing.

That’s great! I would have to also add that if someone wants to graduate it’s their responsibility, not the President’s. So if the graduation rate was not as high as her salary, it wouldn’t reflect negatively on the President, but moreso on the student. Stop hating on a black woman doing her thang. Black men really need to stop being jealous of successful black women and go out and get their own slice of the American pie, that way they won’t be sitting at home on their ass when they should be working, criticizing the desirables in this world.
