On December 4, 1906, seven men at Cornell University founded the first Black intercollegiate fraternity. Over the years, a number of African-American leaders in various arenas have been part of this organization, which aims to promote brotherhood and service.
In honor of the fraternity’s 103rd anniversary, here’s a gallery of famous Alphas, past and present:
