OK- Let’s not get too carried away here- Do you really think Michelle Obama is going to let her babies debut on a pop culture hit show!!!! I think the author of this article really underestimates The Black Woman/ Mother/ Mom in Chief!!!!

I dont think they should be on Hannah Montanna either. She is no role model for any girl. She is just a popular,rich, almost grown girl who really have nothing in common with little girl Sasha and Malia’s age. It is just hype. Correct me if im wrong, but isnt Miley like sixteen years old. Also, those provocative photos she took really made me look at this Hannah Montana figure in a different light.

I’m sorry, but this article fails to make a convincing case. And can we stop with the Puritanical judgments?

The premise seems to be that if the Obama girls appear on Hannah Montana they will have drug and alcohol issues?

Is there some hidden logic that I am missing here?

And what’s with the gossip about the Bush girls? I sure don’t like their daddy, but they seem normal enough. Imagine, college kids drinking and having sex!

Regan’s family life was screwed up way before he was a politician and there was no Internet back then either.

One could’ve have easily made the case that the list of kids who spent time in the White House and did not develop issues is much larger than those that did.

To cap things off, the writer contradicts himself by saying that the Obama girls should be “role models from young women of all races”.

How in the world are they suppose to be role models without any publicity? We live in a connected world and if you aren’t seen you aren’t relevant in young people’s eyes.

They seem to be like girls their age and love Hannah Montana. For all we know, it might turn out that they see this as an opportunity most little girls who love to get that has been lost because of their dad.

That resentment could lead to issues as same as spending a few minutes on the show.

The public loves these girls and a few minutes on Hannah Montana before they disappear into the Secret Service details is not going to cause them to drink or have sex on cars. Sheesh!
