Adriel Johnson, a 52-year-old biology professor who was shot dead on Friday during a faculty meeting at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, graduated from Washington University in 1979, according to StudLife.

Johnson’s classmates have created an online memorial for him via the WUSTL Black Alumni Association website.
