As far as justice goes, it has always been a fact that those with money are the only ones who have any chance of obtaining what this so-called democracy has to offer. We as citizens have to realize that capitalism is not about serving the people, but about exploting the people to make great wealth for a few, the connected, the powerful, the white power structure. The words of responsibility, American resolve, blah blah, are words of apeesement to those without power. How can Americans sitback and accept their tax dollars being batanly squandered right in front of their face. This is truly an example of the powerful abusing the powerless. A CBB would have put the economy back on track, but the problem for the bearers of big bucks is that it would empower too many people thata they feel are best left powerless. Unfortunately, Pres Obama will not defeat this mindset in Wash. It was established at the founding of America, and we have been fed fear hatred and bias for centuries. To all of a sudden aban don the very thing that we have become accustomed to is not impossible but highly improbable. If a CBB is granted it would be like discovering a cancer cure. The closet pres to do a psuedo Cbb was George Bush with a paultry stim check, but at least it was tax free money, something that no president prior has ever done. Now the 350B that was given to the banks, was enough to give every man, women and child in America $1100 dollars, but it was given to the very institution that in part created this current crisis, so much for fairness in democracy. Being president is,nt rocket science, it,s just knowing how to play a good fiddle, and sing a good song, and being black skinned did,nt hurt. Can you imagine an old white candidate trying to sell the notion of CHANGE?
