I’m getting tired of this shit to. When Bush was president we could say it all day long, now that OBAMA is president it’s a problem discussing it. I remember at work our boss didn’t want us to talk about the presidental election before Obama got elected and I kept on. This is a country with freedom of speech and i’ll be damned if I bite my tongue. It shouldn’t even be a race thing because he is half white and black… I guess it’s just the fact to some people that he has some black in him and more black than white. I wouldn’t had made it back in slavery days… as soon as I was abled to talk they would have hung me.

I think that was a disgrace. The fact that we try to teach our children (all children) not to hate and love all then something like this happens. I have family that live in Crenshaw, Ms. and it that way also with some of the whites. When will we get over this haterd and learn to love. when we die God is not going to have special places for the different races we will all go to the same place and have no choice but to live together and love so why not start here. We have a black president, something different in history and instead of worring about him we need to focus on other thing more inportant. Like bringing soliders home from a country that no matter how much we fight or how many soliders we send it will not stop the problem.So let us focus on something that really needs attention and learn how to LOVE EACH OTHER. The parents are mad I know of these two children but they need to explain to them that this world has not grown to love yet, it probably wont be the last of these kind of things in their life, but to forgive (like God would want us to do) and remember it’snot our battle. Everything people do negative it will come back on them harder by GOD.

Only in the South! Somethin like this WOULD happen in Mississippi…goodness I don’t know why anybody with any sense even still lives in that part of the country. Here we are in 2008 and it’s like it’s still 1955 down there. That bus driver and that coach would have been fired the SAME day if that had happened in California or any other non-Southern state. What the heck does the school district need to investigate?!?! Fire them and send out a warning that if any other employees want to act hateful they might as well just start polishing up their (probably weak) resumes!!

The election was not won based on the color of Obama’s or Mc Cain’s skin but more on the fact that the people wanted change after these past 8 years I mean Bush really ran this country in to the ground and besides the point if the out come was the oppisite and Mc Cain had won and the bus driver had a child the was on the bus of a black drive and he or she would had say Mc Cain’s name and got put off the buss I’m pretty shure they would have gotten upset and demanded the buss driver get fired so I thank it’s only right to fire the driver for not only being a raceal but also not thanking before acted.

I am just amazed at the ignorance that is still present in this day and age.
I can not believe that a TEACHER would tell a student that they would be disciplined … do they not realize that there is no getting around learning about the PRESIDENT? His picture will soon be up in the hallways, won’t it? (I am Canadian, so maybe I am wrong) What will that teacher do then?
It just amazes me, maybe I am the naive one .. but if being naive makes me accepting of all people, then I would rather be naive

I agree with everybody here. Haters should get over it. Just look at the chronology that Obama went through….
* Every politician tried to shit on him, including the Clintons.
* Even Jesse Jackson tried to shit on him.
* He bypassed death threats and hate literature.

He is a survivor with confidence like most of our black Americans which is why I sigh relief in finally someone in the office that I can relate to. This change is so refreshing, most stubborn/racist people can’t stand it…..

Apparently, a lot of white America rallied for change as well. I wish that only these racists individuals would put the same amount of energy into stabilizing our country and integrity.
