CHICAGO (AP) ― Chicago police say two teenagers who were found naked and shot to death near some railroad tracks on the city’s South Side were kidnapped several miles away and possibly thrown into the truck of a car.

Detectives said Tuesday that they had learned that 17-year-old Dante Coleman and 17-year-old Ibitoye Olayinka (ih-bit-TOY’-yay oh-lay-INK’-ah) were kidnapped late Sunday night from near East 51st St. and Prairie Ave.

The two were found lying face down Monday morning near some railroad tracks in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the city’s far South Side.

Officer Veejay Zala of Chicago Police News Affairs office says both had been shot multiple times in the head and back.
