If anything can turn young people on to reading, it might be a memoir by the teenage pop superstar Justin Bieber. In October, HarperCollins will release “Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story,” the publisher announced on Monday. “Between the behind-the-scenes pictures and the story I think this is going to be something they can all enjoy,” Mr. Bieber, 16, said in a statement.

“This is just another way for me to say thank you to my fans.”
