1. seperate yourself from city schools by any means possible. most city schools with black constituents are run poorly with enept and greedy administrations. kinda remind you of the HBCU’s

Blks need to take a page out of the immigrants book b/c African and Asian students are studying and learning outside of the classroom and to many of’em, the U.S. school system is just a formality. They can ace u.s. h.s. courses at 12 yrs old. They’ve got their eyes on the universities or tech schools.

Graduating or getting a GED from a U.S. high school is easy. Algebra, geometry, algebra II and calculus are not required courses. You can get that diploma by just learnng the 3 rs.

The reason why the older generation had more success is because parents where stricter and the school system wasn’t as leniant.

Myth, education has never been a priority in the AA community. This is just revisionist dribble talk. There was a period where the AA community fought for the right to be educated but the High School test scores and graduation rates have always been poor. The percentage of AA with a college degree has also always been poor. What has changed is the high rates of single parent homes and the lost since of community that AA once had.
