The MLK I Have A Dream speech is now regarded as a seminal moment in US Civil Rights history. where Dr. King delivered a stirring please for racial equality before an estimated crowd of 200,000 people.
“I Have A Dream” Speech
In 1963 the speech was culmination of the Civil Rights March On Washington designed to to put pressure on the Kennedy administration to enact Civil Rights Legislation. MLK created a broad coalition for the March On Washington.
