Vernon Forrest, Lorenzen Wright, and Stephen Jackson have all been victims of gun violence. Forrest was murdered while being robbed, Wright’s murder is still in question, and Stephen Jackson’s home was burglarized while his wife was home.

Numerous professional athletes have ran in trouble with the law for carrying un-licensed weapons, carrying the weapons to protect themselves from burglars.

Since the fear is prevalent for many athletes, should they carry guns or simply hire body guards?

You be the judge.
