Take that, Tony.
Anti-war protesters in Ireland unleashed their anger toward former British Prime Minister on Saturday by throwing shoes and eggs at him during his first public event for his recently released memoir.
However, none of the projectiles hit Blair as he got out of his car.
The more than 200 demonstrators in Dublin shouted that Blair had “blood on his hands” for teaming the U.K. with the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Blair’s book, “A Journey,” was released this week. Notable parts include his admiration for President George W. Bush, referring to Princess Diana as a “manipulator” and his admission that he struggled with alcohol toward the end of his reign.
