After more than seven months of negotiations and a 36-day contract holdout, the Jets have agreed to terms with All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis, the team announced.

Terms of the contract were not immediately available.

The Jets open the season against the Ravens a week from today on Monday Night Football, so the signing came just in the nick of time.

Revis resurfaced on Twitter, writing, “I’m comin home baby!!! Revis Island LET’S GO.” He also apologized for the absence from the team, saying it had been hard on him as well as the fans apologized, adding that he can’t wait to get back on the field.
