The New York Daily News is reporting that a prominent Black Catholic Pastor has resigned after allegations of child molestation.

A prominent Harlem pastor who was accused by a retired NYPD cop and nine other men of molesting them when they were kids has resigned.

Monsignor Wallace Harris was the highest-ranking black cleric in the New York Archdiocese – a high-profile priest who arranged the 2008 Mass at Yankee Stadium for Pope Benedict and gave the invocation at Gov. Paterson’s swearing in.
