The MTV and BET networks say President Barack Obama is scheduled to take part in a youth town hall meeting broadcast from Washington on Oct. 14.
MTV and BET are producing the program.
The one-hour program will air live at 4 p.m. Eastern time. It also will be seen on the MTVu, Centric, TR3s and CMT networks. It will be online at MTV.com, BET.com and CMT.com.
MTV and BET said Tuesday that Obama will take questions from an audience of about 250 young people and from viewers who submit questions via Twitter.
