ST. LOUIS – Police say a gang-related shooting outside a St. Louis funeral home has left four people injured.

Investigators say the shooting happened shortly after noon Tuesday at the Reliable Funeral Home as a funeral service was being held inside.

Few details have been released, but police tell the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that one victim was shot in the face and taken to St. Louis University Hospital. Another was taken by ambulance to a different hospital and a third was in serious condition. Police say they couldn’t find a reported fourth victim.

A woman who answered the phone at the funeral home tells the newspaper that the shooting occurred while a funeral was going on, but she didn’t know if the shooting was connected to the service. She declined comment to The Associated Press.
