New York — As the Jets prepare to face the Chicago Bears Sunday and move closer toward securing a second consecutive playoff berth, another off-field storyline has emerged.

The sports website Deadspin.com posted that a woman who bears a physical resemblance to Jets coach Rex Ryan’s wife, Michelle, appears in a number of videos described as catering to the “foot-fetish world.”

The videos, which have been re-posted on YouTube after they were initially removed and posted on Deadspin, show a woman displaying her feet in shoes, stockings or barefoot. In one video, a voice that sounds like the Jets coach can be heard.

Asked about the report during a conference call earlier today with Chicago media, Ryan replied, “I know you need to ask, but it’s a personal matter.” Ryan will meet with local media later today.
