Arizona– Hall of Famer Frank Robinson was taken to a hospital Thursday after experiencing dizziness and an irregular heartbeat at the baseball owners’ meetings in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Robinson, 75, was in a meeting when he fell ill, Major League Baseball spokesman Pat Courtney said. Paramedics arrived to treat him and later transported him to a nearby hospital. As he left, Courtney said, Robinson was alert and conscious, and he even waved to MLB officials.
