Donna Fountain was struck by a car just two-blocks from her home as she walked to work Christmas morning.

The single mom listed dreams she wanted to achieve by the age of 45, including, “starting housing for gay and lesbian teens,” and making sure her son Elijah “graduates from college.”

Officers found the crumpled list of Fountain’s dreams at the scene of the accident and passed it to her neighbor.

Cops say Fountain was run down by a gray car around 7:30 a.m. as she crossed Eastern Parkway near Troy Avenue.

The car sped away, leaving the hardworking mom dying on the pavement two and a half blocks from home, where unopened Christmas presents sat and awaited her excited son.

Hubert told TMZ.com that she is still blames Smith for her departure from the show, and that she wouldn’t do a reunion show with him unless he apologized to her.

“There will never be a reunion … as I will never do anything with an a—— like Will Smith,” Hubert told TMZ.

“He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”

The nation’s President lead the category with 17% of votes in top 10 lists that favor the most familiar names, including former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Obama supplanted George W. Bush at No. 1 in 2008 but Bush continues in the No. 2 spot, according to the poll of 1,019 U.S. adults conducted Dec. 15-18.

Former president Bill Clinton hovers in third this year, just above the most frequently named person in the poll’s history — the Rev. Billy Graham. The 93-year-old evangelist has been on the list since Gallup first asked the question in 1946 and has made the top 10 55 times.

At least 9 people were arrested after a huge fight broke out in a food court of the massive mall. Several witnesses said the fight started after a rumor that Drake and Lil Wayne were coming to the mall, Minnesota’s WCCO-TV reported.

“There were drinks thrown on the floor and chairs being thrown everywhere,” witness Tess Dessalgne told Minneapolis’ KARE-TV. “Everyone started running towards the fight.”

The 44-year-old Rapper died of a deep pulmonary embolism last month,  which may have been caused by the overseas flight, The Los Angeles County Coroner has reported.

“Yes, (the flight) is the connection. He had reportedly been in London for about six weeks and had returned to LA within the preceding week or so,” Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator, told the Daily News.

On Christmas, attacks by a radical Muslim sect left 39 dead across Africa’s most populous nation. A bomb also exploded amid gunfire in the central Nigeria city of Jos and a suicide car bomber attacked the military in the nation’s northeast.

“We have been in contact with Nigerian officials about what appear to be terrorist acts and pledge to assist them in bringing those responsible to justice,” according to a statement by White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.

Whether the parents claim it was a joke or not, the criminal justice system does not take acts like these lightly — in most cases the parents are arrested and charged with child endangerment.

Here’s a list of the 10 most extreme punishment videos and pictures.

1. Mother Duct Taped Toddler To Chair

A Southeastern Pennsylvania woman was charged with endangerment over a photograph of a toddler bound to a chair with duct tape covering her mouth. Police say that during questioning, Caira Ferguson, 21, admitted to taping her daughter to the chair last summer.  A judge ruled that Ferguson must only see her daughter under supervision of welfare officials, wear a monitoring bracelet, and is also required to take a parenting class.

2. Judge Viscously Beats Daughter

The video allegedly shows a man spanking his teenage daughter with a belt in a seven-minute ordeal. The person who posted the video claims to be the daughter of Texas’ Aransas County Court-at-Law Judge William Adams and says it was filmed in 2004.  Adams was suspended immediately with pay pending the outcome of the inquiry started earlier this month by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, according to an order signed Tuesday by the clerk of the state’s highest court.

3. Uncle Spanks Teen For Gang Ties

A teen who was videotaped being spanked by his uncle for boasting about gang ties on his Facebook page was found shot to death this month nearby his New Orleans home. Michael Taylor, 16, was found shot to death shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7. In the YouTube video, posted in January, Taylor’s uncle ordered him to disavow any ties to gangs, announced that the family “don’t come from that sh–,” and then proceeded to take off his belt and spank Taylor in full view of the laptop camera.

4. Chicago Man Duct Tapes Daughter

A 21-year-old Chicago man was arrested after he allegedly posted a photograph on Facebook that shows his daughter’s hands, legs and mouth apparently bound with blue tape. Andre Curry, 21, was charged with aggravated domestic battery after one of his Facebook friends forwarded the photo to police.

According to Mintel, a consumer spending and market research firm, the number of black women who say they do not use products to chemically relax or straighten their hair jumped to 36% in 2011, up from 26% in 2010.

What does this mean for the black beauty industry? There definitely needs to be a major shift in product development and care.The report also found that sales of relaxer kits have dropped by 17% between 2006 and 2011.

Changes of 10 and 17 percent might not seem like much, but they are significant in a niche market like black haircare. A few big companies, like Soft Sheen-Carson, have seen the spike in interest and started to roll out products for their natural-haired customers.

James Ramseur, 45, was found dead of an apparent overdose at 11:30 a.m. yesterday at a hotel.

Ramseur became infamous in 1984, when he and his friends Darrell Cabey, Barry Allen and Troy Canty, were all shot by an electronics specialist named Bernhard Goetz, who maintained that the teens tried to mug him.

The shooting took place on Dec. 22, 1984, when Ramseur, 18, and neighborhood pals Darrell Cabey, Barry Allen and Troy Canty, all 19, were riding a downtown No. 2 train.

As it approached Chambers Street, they encountered Goetz, an electronics specialist. What ensued is in dispute.

Goetz told authorities the intimidating youths demanded $5 from him. The teens insisted they were only panhandling.

Goetz fired five shots from his Smith & Wesson, hitting all of them.

Darren Weingrow did not know the deceased grandmother, Delores Gillespie, but decided to donate after hearing her story.

Hedge fund manager Darren Weingrow made the generous offer after hearing how Delores Gillespie, 73, was set on fire in her Brooklyn apartment block after returning from a shopping trip on Saturday.

Shelly Anderson, 33, will be evicted because the father of her children, Arthur Bates, and mother, Fannie Anderson, were found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, breaking a drug war policy developed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Fannie and Bates, who didn’t live with Anderson, were staying in the home to watch her kids while she was on dialysis.

Under HUD’s one-strike policy, any drug offense may lead to eviction from public housing, even offenses of which the tenants themselves are unaware and even if the offenses were committed off-site. And that has led to cases like Anderson’s, in which a poor, single, desperately ill woman and her three kids may lose the only place they have to live over someone else’s misbehavior.

Lenwood James, 36, was arrested for possession of a firearm, after he refused to leave his ex-girlfriend’s home. The woman’s son confronted the man with his ninja sword when he learned that James had a gun.

In a report by Whitefish Bay Patch, the criminal complaint indicates Jones entered ex-girlfriend’s home on N. Sidney Place and was heard “banging around” in the living room. He wasn’t wearing any clothes.

The woman at the home was upset that Jones was naked in front of her children. During the course of their argument, the woman’s teenage son pulled out a ninja sword in order to defend her and told her Jones had a gun and she needed to get out.

Earlier this year, Damon expressed his dissatisfaction with Obama, garnering a response from the President.

“I’ve even let down my key core constituency: movie stars,” the President joked. “Just the other day, Matt Damon — I love Matt Damon, love the guy —  Matt Damon said he was disappointed in my performance. If black people deal with the facts, instead of the news media’s “battle of the black sexes,” they might be able to find healthy love in one another.

Scott Arnold, a professor at William Penn University, told reporters that the he was disheartened to learn that the presidential candidate would not “support all Americans and have everyone’s general interest.”

“I asked him if he’s elected, how does he plan to engage gay Americans. How are we to support him? And he told me to support Obama,” Arnold told the newspaper.

Alfredo Allen was allegedly attacked by Chevoy Nelson, 16,  after the two fought during a basketball game at Erasmus High School.

Nelson was arrested, and charges were pending.

Nelson allegedly shoved Allen as the pair fought over a basketball, and Allen retaliated by punching him in the face, witnesses said.Nelson ran off the court and into a classroom, where he asked a teacher for acid, a police source said. The teacher scoffed, but as she turned around, Nelson grabbed a pair of scissors and ran back into the gym, a source said.

The site, BoycottKim.com, claims Kardashian has “made a mockery of American culture.”  The site hopes to gain the attention of nearly 40 brands or stores that either use Kardashian as an endorser or sell her products.

Kardashian was recently accused of making a trip to Haiti solely for publicity, rather than for charity, and staging a phony marriage for television ratings.

According to one of the founders of the website, the boycott is being closely monitored by Sears, which carries the Kardashian Kollection. (The source noted, by the way, that a substantial portion of those products are discounted on the department store’s website.)

The California-based co-founder, who requested anonymity, says the short-term goal of the boycott is to amass 350,000 signatures but contends that 500,000 would be the kind of “serious number” that would prompt a company such as Sears to re-evaluate its relationship with Kardashian.

Cassie Wright tweeted “My President Is Black, He Snorts A Lot Of Crack,” Sunday.

This isn’t the first time a leader of the organization has made offensive remarks about the president. The former President, Lauren Pierce, tweeted last month, “Y’all as tempting as it may be, don’t shoot Obama. We need him to go down in history as the WORST president we’ve EVER had! #2012.”

That Tweet, which Wright’s grandmother has theorized may be the result of hacking, was also re-Tweeted by Wright’s predecessor, the current secretary of the statewide College Texas Republicans, Lauren Pierce.

The New England Journal of Medicine found that overall, Black and white girls reported a decline in activity as they grew older, but Black girls fared worse in comparison, researchers write. By the age of 16 or 17, 56 percent of the Black girls and 31 percent of the white girls reported no regular activity.

Researchers linked inactivity to higher rates of pregnancy in Black girls aged 14 years and older, while cigarette smoking was more prevalent in whites. For both Black and white girls in the study, less exercise meant a higher body-mass index—the measure of body fat based on height and weight—though Black girls reported higher BMI than whites.

The court overturned a prior conviction against LaDondrell Montgomery, 36, who proved that the Dec. 13, 2009 armed robbery incident he was accused of took place approximately nine hours before authorities released Montgomery from the Harrison County Jail.

Montgomery was in and out of jail so much that he actually forgot that he was in jail at the time of the crime for which he was charged, convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Montgomery’s father says that some in his neighborhood had vendetta’s against his son and testified against him. Newcomb writes, “My son had previously been in and out of incarceration before and had trouble remembering the dates,” said Larry Montgomery, LaDondrell’s elderly father.

Jerome Isaac, 47, turned himself in to police after surveillance video showed the handyman dousing 73-year-old  Delores Gillespie with gasoline and lighting her on fire in her Prospect Heights apartment building elevator.

“He indicated that he was responsible for setting a fire – he didn’t say anything about a homicide,” said Paul Browne, the NYPD’s top spokesman.

“Since then, he has made statements implicating himself in the attack.”

He claimed Gillespie owed him a total of $2,000 for maintenance work, a police source said.

Selina Hodge, 28, found a donor, Stephanie Grant, 23, after posting her plea in July on the classifieds website.

“I turned to Craigslist, because I didn’t know where else to turn to,” Hodge, who suffers from an undisclosed illness, said in a report from Florida’s WPTV.

“It just amazes me that somebody would actually lay down their life for a complete stranger,” said Gina Evans, Hodge’s mother.

Simone dos Santos was breastfeeding her infant in a government building in Washington when she was asked to stop by security guards.

VIDEO:

‘I was shocked, upset and angry that by providing food for my son I was being treated like a criminal,’ Ms dos Santos wrote following for the Washington Post’s The Root DC.

Ms dos Santos, an attorney, says she was covering her 4-month old with a jacket in the Henry J. Daley building when she was approached by the two security guards asking her to stop.

Karl Rominger, a Carlisle, Pa., lawyer who recently joined the accused child molester’s defense team, told the press that many troubled youth don’t know how to shower themselves.

“Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body,” Rominger told WHTM-TV on Tuesday.

The girl recounted the horrific details of being kidnapped and forced to have sex, in article for the New York Daily News earlier this year.

The girl vanished again after leaving her apartment at 7 a.m. Wednesday, wearing a turquoise halter dress and sandals and carrying a brown Coach bag, cops said.
