What is black politics? When I was security for a black dem.state senator,I got a good look at so called black politics.the thing blacks did was stand around and complain.but when it came time to vote it was like pulling teeth just to get them to go to the polls.I would waste my time explaining why they should come out and vote.it was like they expected that the things they complained about would be magically taken care of without them having to do anything.I started to hate talking with them and listening to them get passionate about michale jordan not getting paid enough money,but when it came to issues that affected their lives,nothing! For blacks between the ages of 18 and 40 years old, that’s black politics.

I’m diabled now but I think I would have quit anyway.I liked my job and that’s why I stayed until I got sick.butI found out that black people and politics did’nt mix.I met barack obama along with a lot of other senators and representatives.the mayor and I had conversations almost everytime we saw each other.I went to political events and was on call 24 hours a day.I watched sen.rickey hendon working hard trying to get people to care about what was happening to their rights.

I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT. WE GET REAL PASSIONATE WHEN IT COMES TO STUFF LIKE THE BOOTS OPRAH WAS WEARING OR WHAT BOBBY AND WHITNEY HAD TO SAY. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING ORGANIZED AND MAKING CHANGES, THAT WON’T HAPPEN UNLESS SOME KIND OF CRISIS COMES UP.

Cut it out gentlemen..Politricks is the biggest hoax of the 20th century, and that continues on into the 21st. The 4 centers of power that govern the world (politics, economics, intellectual and ecclesiastical) are not impacted by popular votes. The voting system was set up to allow people to believe that they indeed have a voice, when in reality, they have no bearing on the policies of those four centers I mentioned. Gren1shaw2, I agree with you that complaining without action is futile, but I vehemently disagree with you when you suggest, the proper action is to get out and vote…Vote for what exactly? Every single politician runs on a platform of change. Even the inc**bent candidate claims that he made some errors in his past admin, and will work to fix them, and nothing ever changes, except for the worse!

_A_ besdies black politics consists of 97% democrats, 2% republicans, and 1% other. To me they all spit mad game to certain people. At the end of the day they are ran by special part groups. The repubs don’t give a damn about us and demos wanna baby us I say fu.ck em all.
