There are so many Black females from young children to adults missing in this country. The recent case of a man of color named Sowell where so far seven female corpses were found in this convicted rapist home. Based on news reports I’ve heard, the victims are Black. In addition, another Black female reported her rape by Sowell, and the police refused to investigate her allegations because SHE had a criminal record as if women who served time in prison/jail don’t get raped.

It’s apparent Black female lives have little to no value to the dominant culture, which is proven time and time again by how law enforcement agencies handle cases and crimes against Black females and Blacks in general from noise complaints, anti-social behavior on the street they reside, to verbal threats in the workplace, to domestic disputes and so on.

People like George Cook, African Americans, will have to band together to form coalitions to address our issues like “Missing Persons,” to fill in the gaps that are created when our dominant culture’s legal and public safety systems don’t provide the assistance, media attention and exposure we need to find some of these missing persons dead or alive and deter this type of criminal-minded, anti-social behavior that devastates Black families everyday in America.
