What people fail to realize is that these sorts of things have been happening for years. And, while I’m not trying to excuse any actions ANYONE has chose to do it been happening. When I was a child gunfire in our neighborhoods were rampid and looked over but now that it’s spilled into rual areas every outlet possible is crying for help. I sadden but not surprised to see such a thing happen given the tragic event but it wont be the last time. You can blame it on the parents but most times the parent aren’t aware until after the fact. You can blame it on music but by the time you’re children are listening to age apropriate music he/she can decipher right from wrong and knows about life and death. You can blame it on schools not caring about the well being of the child and giving their all to each child before them and not just those who really care about school. But, when it all boils down its the communities who have the most affects of the youth. Parents, teachers, clergy members, and law enforcement has to come together and make the neighborhoods what the used to be. When children are sheltered and not loved and picked on the become ticking time bombs. Sometimes a simple hello or a smile to a complete stranger might save your life and the lives of others.

that’s true but…my thing is why is it…that when a Black is ‘praised’ the characters lifestyle is so controversial…I mean it’s like take Denzel..all the movies that he has done…why was he only really recognized for being a drug dealer? I mean I just don’t understand it…even Halle Berry in monster’s Ball…all of the movies she has done..and she was recognized for monster’s ball for freakin’ a white dude!!! I mean to me…it’s just unacceptable…this is the age of Obama…let’s move forward…and don’t get me wrong…i’m not saying cases like incest and rape within families doesn’t happen but…it’s unrealistic in terms that NOBODY helped her…and the social worker that was assigned to her case…COULDN’T HANDLE IT? and then walks out the office? In reality..she would have had her license revoked!!

Mr. Patterson. Saying you’re shocked by this is really disingenuous. They asked you nicely to step down and you refused, you had to know this would be their next move. Politics is a dirty, filthy business (as you already know from the way your predecessor was dealt with) and once you have played in it a while you can’t help but get dirty and filthy yourself. That’s not to say I think you’re guilty, because truly I don’t, but just saying, if you get into the pig pen to play, don’t be surprised if you get some slop smeared all over your Brooks Brothers suit!

president Obama needs to realize the republicans are playing him they could care less about poor people and jobs. the game they play is like the one we used to pull in the bar. lead the ugly girl on, sneak her a beer,then at closing ,sneak her out and disavow any knowledge of the act. he should have learned from that witch looking olympia snow she was just playing along for the attention cause god knows she dont get none of any kind anywhere else.so inclosing bipartisianship is just another word for giving in to the big money bastards who rule this damn country.

Okay I thought the movie was entertaining but it was just that a movie. Some parts may be realistic such as a mother who hates her daughter and a father molesting her it happens all the time in black and white and other races but the odds of a girl having 2 kids by her dad and both having issues and all that other stuff it happens but not real common I’m sure.Now a days kids kill their parents so things have changed and alot of this is fictional. I don’t see any predjudice. My boyfriends mom however is very hateful towards white people and it rubbed off on him and I think the reason is because all her life she laid up and had 8 kids to a man she calls her “husband” but he never married her and she got welfare for her kids and now that they are all grown up she has gotten on SSI and I think she is predjudice because this is the way she chose to live and she hates white people because she doesn’t have any self esteem and she feels like they are better than he she is a hateful evil person always asking for a handout and she has all her kids including my boyfriend up under her and won’t let them leave her sight and him and I fight over this. I swear I hate that woman I really do. She is the 1st black woman I ever met that was predjudice and it is sickening all because SHE chose to live off the system her whole life!
