pantherg08, Stop being bitter…You’re showing some weakness because of some chick that bit you and you havent recovered yet. Its not about not getting married, its about being more selective in WHO you marry. Just like there are tons of people that end in divorce, there are also many that stay together….He should have been more in tune with her brain (she doesnt seem to exhibit much of that), as opposed to her ‘milk shake’… ;-) In an interview she did a LONG time ago, she claimed that she doesnt like to cook or clean really, shes not domestic and she was a bit confused about her sexuality….Now if NAS didnt take that into account when he met her, then he needs to take responsibility for HIS MISTAKE…He made that bed, hope its comfortable…Im not on Kelis’ side at all, I think shes triflin’ for her antics, but he knew the job was dangerous when he took it.

I havent seen to many marriages work out, matter of face i could only think of one for a personal experience. statistics show that 50% marriages end in divorce, thats a coin toss!!! and of those marriages that do last, proably a higher percentage is because of the kids. When nas and kelis got togeather they were both making money, now that the relationship is ending he has to pay her 50,000 a month? i dont even make that a year!!!! Every other day we here about some poor guy getting railroaded by his ex wife. If a man was to get married a pre-nup is neccessary, but when a guy request that the women be like “why u dont trust me?”. Thats why im anti marriage, and if somebody is going to be that dumb, than a pre-nup is the only answer!!

I understand both of your points and maybe the “order” is too high. But why is he waiting until he is several months behind to say he can’t afford the order.
I don’t care for Kelis at all, but take the “fame” out of the equation and what you have is another brother who is failing to take care of his child!
I am current on my child support (18yrs) and no one cared when I aid it was too much cash, I just DID THE RIGHT THING.

Regardless of who they are, do we really need another black child who isn’t supported by his father? Does he see the child as we know he and Kelis don’t even speak at this time.

This is not about child support, does this women and child need 50,000 a month? im sure that if it would have been a fair order he woudent be behind. Maybe 3-5 thousand a month would be better. This is about a women knowing she can ruin this mans life. I pay child support to, and yes it is very high, unfairly high. The courts are designed to hurt the man and benefit the women, if i heard correctly she cheated on him, so he has to suffer finanically?? He should have been more selective, but everybody says that after the fact.

yea I agree and get your point, but we don’t know how much he makes, the order sounds crazy to us but what if he is making 3 million a year, then 600,000 hurts but he can make it. Yea maybe he doesn’t make that much but could it be close? He ain’t Snoop but he’s paid! What will most likely happen is that the support order will be modified, We don’t have all the information and yes she is scorned but his case may not be any different than ours, and we both pay!

Shes a celebrity too. She aint just a common person, her name carries weight like his does. She shouldnt expect to live off that mans income. Maybe he should do the split custody thing. I dont think the woman should be expected to have the child all the time. People talk about doing the “Right Thing” but who said it was righteous. Did God say it? The same people who made the child support laws are the ones who wrote the Black Codes and drug laws the same ones who got us at over 50% of the prison population and doing mainly lower end jobs. Theres no fairness there. I see a lot of men who cant afford to live after child support is taken out. Some got a few jobs and others gotta hustle. Then you feeding the judges, lawyers and prison guards children. We never grew up on the standard for financial support. Welfare doesnt even give out that much bread per child. If you live with the child that money breakdown doesnt add up. Child support law is to decrease the population of poorer people. So many people now dont even want children. But thats part what we are here to do. Caucasians across the globes birth rate has been rapidly decreasing and they want ours to decrease. The institution of marriage in the modern world is a western one. They have always looked at women as property and not equal to a man.
