I hear ya! They didn’t give these two legends of music NO PLAY! They should’ve mentioned their career, their hits and other relevant facts. Plus they were Motown legends too!

They even gave that caucasoid fe-male crack head, who was only 27, and died of drugs four or five days of front page news! I was curious to know if BET had anything on it…it took me 7 mins to find something and this was a stock exchange-ticker styled blirp. nothing front page! even worse, when i clicked the link, the pic was of berry gordy at some awards ceremony and no covergae.

They Ashford and Simpson wrote some of the most beautiful music you’ll ever hear. Jerry Leiber passed yesterday too. He, along with Stoler, wrote “Kansas City”, “Stand By Me” , and “Hound Dog” and “Jailhouse Rock” for Elvis. May the good Lord rest their souls in eternal peace.
