And everybody had what to say about the movie “Precious”? I’m sorry I can’t hear you? What was that? Oh I thought so….because now “Precious” to the fifth power is in your face with this situation. To every last one of yall that had all that crapt to say a few weeks ago when that movie was an issue…..guess what? Shhhhhhhh, that’s the sound of nobody caring what you think!!!! BOOM!
And if you have never been in such a situation to all of you talking about the mother, you need to hush. Period. Cause you don’t know what you would have done after he got finished wearing yo behind out with a board or boot. Fear is a mutha! Stop a casting judgement when you are not wearing the shoes.

I am a white guy – I’ve never raped a woman – white or black and therefore have no guilt about the past. As a white male I admire people for who they are not based on a color but their actions and character. I can honestly say your thinking is more outdated and stereotyping than anyone I know. I can’t say I ever thought of beating any human like an animal. So every white man is not like you exclaim. You have some serious issues.

My position is that it is bad enough that our children are brain-washed and directly influenced by the images being put out there, but now once again the “Great White Hope” looms on the horizon. HELL to the no!

Excellent Observations – I have been thinking about the psychological side of that movie but we must remember that Precious has to make a living too. However, I do not participate in events or acts that make me or other blacks look like or portray us as idiots unless they are and intentionally act that way to harm me via criminal acts, for self gain, and they don’t care about harming other for that gain. I.E black judges obstructing justice vs. blacks for personal gain (see USDC SDM cases 303cv12006 and 307CV0074, and USDC EDL Case 208CV04583) where the courts and JSUMS administrators kept black PhD students from graduating at Jackson State University for 16 years and counting. None graduated in clinical psychology until I filed suit in 2003 – not one for 10 years and none have been readmitted that were illegally dismissed since 1994. Likewise, we must remember the GOALS OF AMERICAN SLAVERY as defined by other vs. African Americans in particular. There are numerous other cases of black on black and of course white, red, yellows, browns, and others vs. blacks racism and discrimination that is harming all of us and our children. There is Hispanic vs. Black racism – and we fail to realize that we are all fighting for the same piece of pie. Let us hope precious with reach out with her wealth and move to other positive roles. However, the appetite for those who want to denigrate us can never be satisfied with such degrading views and mockery but still we rise and survive as they wallow in mental sickness – anyone who thinks blacks and other are inferior to the self.

For the same reason I had a problem with Halle Berry winning an Oscar for playing a WM’s w***e (“please, please, mister white man, please have sex with me!) instead winning for “Dorothy Dandridge” (a much better role).

and it’s the same reason I had a problem with Denzel winning for playing a lowdown criminal cop instead of the much better performances in Malcolm X (a strong, MORAL, BM role model) or in “Hurricane” (one of his all-time best roles).

The problem isn’t about showing our “dirty laundry,” it’s the lack of balance, the lack of positive black images, AND it’s the lack of CONTROL blacks have over our OWN images. White folk control ALL OUR IMAGES — and it doesn’t matter how rich or famous a showcase black entertainer/producer/director/talk show host is — they are still working for the WHITES who control the game — and that includes Tyler Perry and Oprah…

Don’t be fooled by the Tyler/Oprah or any famous black folk put out front to “promote” the white media’s agenda. Showcase black folks like Tyler and Oprah still play by the rules laid down by white folks OR they don’t get TV shows, movie deals, or big paychecks…These showcase blacks must SUBMIT to the rules of this game if they want their TV shows, rap videos, clothing lines, endorsements, record deals, movie deals, movies in theaters, TV syndication, sponsors to keep filling their pockets with moolah.

Most black images — with the exception of independent black films made BY black folks and a handful of black specks in the white buttermilk TV dramas and movies — show black folks and black life as ABNORMAL and BM and BW as unloving toward each other. For every ABNORMAL white character in a movie or TV, there are dozens of normal white folks to overpower that image, or some moral, wonderful white folk who come to the rescue.

check out the color scheme of the “black” movies promoted by white Hollywood/media. The most ignorant, criminally inclined, uneducated, and dysfunctional black folks — especially if they are female — are usually DARK-SKINNED.

To be dark and female is to automatically be obese/manless/desperate/illterate/dysfunctional. Try to remember the last time YOU saw a dark-skinned black female in a movie or TV show as the love interest of a BM, or as an object of desire by ANYONE..

My last point is this: the white media doesn’t spend billions of dollars to give you cheap or free entertainment.

There is ALWAYS an agenda and that’s “white supremacy/black inferiority” and they will spend billions to PROGRAM YOUR MIND and make you think it’s NORMAL to be ABNORMAL.

When they show positive black images, it is always a black folk who is helping white folk achieve an agenda, or rescuing white folk (like most Morgan Freeman movies), and they are usually black folk who have NO connection to other black folks, the MESSAGE being that a “good black” is MORE loyal to the white agenda and white folk than to any black agenda

Once you see the game, you will always peep game.
