This is just my personal opinion and that is had Michael made a comeback tour, it would have been larger than what Elvis did when he started his comeback tour with the Vegas show. I can only imagine the life that Michael Jackson lived. I grew up with him and loved most of his music. He contributed joy to my life. I imagine that fame and especially the fame that Michael had must have been overbearing. People seem to have very little respect for the privacy of others. I imagine that in many ways Michael was isolated and found it difficult to live a normal life. It is my hope that people will not continue to hound him in death. My prayer is that he is allowed to rest in peace. It is also my hope that his children will be able to live their lives in peace without being surrounded by media who are constantly trying to photograph or videotape their private moments.

i don’t believe it was foul play. joe does not want to accept the fact that his son became a drug addict and thats what it all boils down. candy coat it all you want. our boy was a drug addict. i grew up with mike and was a hardcore fan as a teen and loved the fact that he claimed to not drink, smoke, or do drugs. he even said he did not take anything for a headache. my friends and i respected that.. now we see he became addicted due to the burns so they say but i believe it was all the alterations he had done to his face and skin. the aftermath of plastic surgery is very painful. i have seen actually procedures and it ain’t pretty. constantly being under the knife is enough to cause addiction in some. i just wish he had of gotten help and all those peope around him were nothing but enablers. regular drug addicts usually seek help after hitting rock bottom. mike never actually hit rock bottom. he had a steady flow of cash and drugs.. when money is involved all bets are off.. this is a sad cause of what money CAN buy…

I been a J5 fan since the late 60′s, I saw them in Milwaukee in around 1971, or 72 then again during the “Victory” tour. Joseph was never charged with a crime and I think he should be commended raising for raising 9 kids who were all successful! Some of you can’t even raise 1-3 kids,, lol.

ok i have read a lot of the comments.. as far as MJ’s personal life we will never know the truth. Because the media only puts out what they think you want to hear. As far as the “He” chaning the color of his skin how do we know that? Why cant MJ be telling the truth when he said he had a skin problems.. We dont know and we will never know. I’ve tried sooo hard to be sympathetic to Mr. Jackson. He did lose a son, after all. However, he is speaking about rearing his grandchildren (bilogical or not is immaterial), as though he ought to be given that opportunity! For one, he and his wife are estranged and have been for some years. He NOW wants to come around and pretend as though he has been around? Seriously? Michael left his dad OUT of his will. One can only assume that this was an intentional, deliberate act, given the history he has with his children and the way in which he treats his wife. He may have developed their childrens’ innate ability, but at the cost of their lives, happines and emotional well-being. Talented,they are, but damaged severely by the brutality of this money-hungry oportunist. He now has his eyes set on destroying the very people his poor son obviously loved most; his mother and his children. Katherine has her faults, I am sure. Seems though that he was able to forgive her for not standing up to their father in defense of the cruelty he unleashed on her children. She may have gone to her son and made peace with him, which it would appear that his father did not. Anyway, the best thing to put between Joe and those children is DISTANCE, and plenty of it!

Michael may have gone to too far with the cosmetic procedures and skin bleaching but bottom line is none of that really matters. His music and what a huge humanitarian is really what was important. Media think we care but anyone who is anybody really don’t want to hear the non sense. Small minded people dwell on the fine print take a look at the bigger picture. The King of Pop is gone and all that is of a focal point are a row of negatives. Joe is a father who lost a son and he is still a human being with thoughts and feelings that deserve the right to be acknowledged just like the rest of us. I don’t think there was any foul play. We all have the ability to make our own decisions. Michael,in spite of what was told to him about certain medications he chose to take what he took and it took him out. I am very hurt about all that has transpired.
