Chris Brown Pleads Guilty, Gets Probation

UPDATE: Rihanna’s Lawyer Says Agreement Is Fair
Chris Brown has plead guilty to one count of felony assault on pop star Rihanna.
Brown entered his plea before a preliminary hearing was scheduled to start in Los Angeles on Monday. Brown is in the process of waiving his rights.
Brown’s alleged victim, Rihanna, had been on standby to testify on Monday.
Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos (GEHR’-uh-gohs), says the deal includes five years of supervised probation and six months of community labor.
The judge expressed some concerns because Brown is not a California resident, but it appears Brown will be allowed to do his community service in his home state of Virginia. He’ll have to return to California for updates every three months.

Another bad day in the judical system. Iook goes to show you what money does. in my view he should have served jail time. Now if this was an average person they would have thrown the book at him. it sends a bad message on all levels. When are we going to learn that these slaps on the wrist is a joke to the judical system. He may have dodge the jail, but his career a waste.
I sickens me to see how money has such a major effect on the legal system. Yes I agree that Chrais Brown made a major mistake. However with every mistake goes a consequence.. The leagal system is clearly backwards but that is no secret. What kills me the most is some of these comments. At the end of the day Rhianna could have been one of y’alls sister, daughter, neice, aunt, MOTHER and all y’all have to say is “Rhianna will know better next time thats what she gets…” or “my boo is back to making music again” or “there is two sides to the story”. This MAN (i mean boy) put his fist to another woman..Ladies we need to wake up…this is to sad. i could go on day and days on this one.
Im happy its over. Its 2 sides to every story so, stop getting on his back.

I think it is good he does not go to prison, it wont make him a better person, will it? I think this is the right thing, he got 5 yrs on probation and has to make a therapy and he has to do social work which gives him time to think about what he did.

It’s amusing that two young people can get such attention with people taking sides. No one will ever know the whole story because IT’S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. It’s evident that there are issues with both sides…notice the Judge ordered that BOTH stay away from the other.
