Director Spike Lee’s Brooklyn public celebration of Michael Jackson’s birthday has been moved amid predictions of a big crowd.

The free bash will be held in the Nethermead meadow in Prospect Park on Saturday afternoon, rain or shine. It originally was planned for Fort Greene Park.

The New York Times reported Friday that the initial crowd estimate of 2,000 swelled to more than 10,000.

The paper says the Rev. Al Sharpton will say a prayer at the party. President Marty Markowitz will present a proclamation declaring Aug. 29 Michael Jackson Day in Brooklyn. DJ Spinna will play all things Michael Jackson.

Jackson would have turned 51.

Lee collaborated on Jackson’s video for “They Don’t Care About Us.”

Jackson died on June 25.
