I was not there and I didn’t hear what or how he said it, but ALL of our leaders have been made fun of and clowned throughout history and even though I Love my President and his family , Tracy does have freedom of speech on his side . It may have been in poor taste to joke about President Obama and add on the fact that it came from “another” black man , Mr. Morgan still has the right to make jokes . I would not have laughed and I may have even booed, but we have such thin skin in 2009 and that its sad . If that had been Mr. Bush , many people would have laughed , and wanted more and no one would have walked out . I’m black , a democrat and I voted for my President but relax , Tracy’s job is to make jokes , it just wasn’t funny. If the joke was funny laugh and if it sucked , don’t laugh !

It’s strange (but not surprising) that even after Obama has all but ignored the black community (before his election as MY Senator from Illinois) and after he became president, yet this “black loyalty” stubbornly persists.

Whenever Obama is criticized for anything, especially if blacks even dare to accuse him of ignoring the black community, some blacks passionately respond with, “He’s a president of all the people. He can’t single out one ethnic group!”

Well…. since January, Obama has met with Hispanic groups a mininum of 10 times, with Jewish organizations who knows how many times, and he’s given Town Hall meetings in predominantly white areas and has stuck around to answer questions and “talk” to the little (white) people.

He’s attended Hispanic Chamber of Commerce meetings, Hispanic prayer breakfasts, even attended a Latino music festival a few weeks ago and danced with some senoritas.

To my knowledge, the only black organization Obama has talked to is the NAACP (not controlled or financed by blacks), and he didn’t stick around long enough to answer a single question from that black audience.

And now, it appears he was going to be the “keynote speaker” for another Jewish event — but the only reason he didn’t show up was the Fort Hood shootings…

And generally, comedians don’t do that corny s**t that they do on TV live anyway. They always step it up a notch or more. Some people in this country are really overreacting and being a bit crazy lately and I really wish people would stop bugging out about nothing and pay attention to what’s important. Why aren’t these same people protesting the fact that their Democratic leaders aren’t giving Obama the support he needs to get his agendas passed?
