Many folks are screaming unfair because white Presidents were joked on in the past.
We gotta look at the big picture: It’s easy to joke on a white guy because he got plenty to spare and can still count his money and millions tommorrow and many white men were Presidents in the past. But with our folks..if it wasn’t from JZ,Ophrah,and Bad Boy Productions(and a few more), we wouldn’t even be on the map of having power and influence. We don’t get black Presidents every 4 years and NOW is the chance we use this office tha’s ran by a man of color to promote Black Role Models, Black Achievement, Pass Due Black Respect for ourselves and our community and our status as a people of color globally. Don’t forget that many people who live in foreign countries with few blacks still think we have tails.
So this is totally different and can’t be compared to Bush or Clinton..His ass could have clowned about something else..God knows we already get enough bad press and seen as an overly promiscuous race as it is..hope it taught his non-funny ass a lesson to find some other subject to make a buck on..

But given this day and age when comedian Larry David can piss on a picture of Jesus as a joke and or even make a joke about Allah and its worshippers and people not only laugh and find it funny but often defend these types of jokes. I just find it crazy that this would offend some people.

I heard worse jokes about George Bush,,,, didn’t seem to offend that many people.

I think we’re fortunately getting to the point where comedians need to be funny not just vulgar. Wanda S. used to be funny to me but routines against Bush etc weren’t really funny, just vulgar. I agree that blacks won’t get much from this administration. That was a given from the start. I didn’t even know that a black democrat was running for mayor of NY and I look at a lot of CNN etc. He got no support from the whitehouse.

As jokes go, I’ve heard much worse jokes than those he said about the Obamas. Wanda Sykes made the same kinds of jokes in her recent HBO special and was applauded. Why aren’t these same people protesting the fact that their Democratic leaders aren’t giving Obama the support he needs to get his agendas passed? It’s strange (but not surprising) that even after Obama has all but ignored the black community (before his election as MY Senator from Illinois) and after he became president, yet this “black loyalty” stubbornly persists.

Whenever Obama is criticized for anything, especially if blacks even dare to accuse him of ignoring the black community, some blacks passionately respond with, “He’s a president of all the people. He can’t single out one ethnic group!”

Well…. since January, Obama has met with Hispanic groups a mininum of 10 times, with Jewish organizations who knows how many times, and he’s given Town Hall meetings in predominantly white areas and has stuck around to answer questions and “talk” to the little (white) people.

He’s attended Hispanic Chamber of Commerce meetings, Hispanic prayer breakfasts, even attended a Latino music festival a few weeks ago and danced with some senoritas.

To my knowledge, the only black organization Obama has talked to is the NAACP (not controlled or financed by blacks), and he didn’t stick around long enough to answer a single question from that black audience.

And now, it appears he was going to be the “keynote speaker” for another Jewish event — but the only reason he didn’t show up was the Fort Hood shootings…

American Jewry kicks off annual conference, but guest star Obama cancels

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The annual General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America kicked off this year in an autumnal American capital with the disappointing news that the guest star, President Barack Obama, canceled at the last minute to attend a memorial service for the victims of a shooting at an army base in Texas last week.
