James Baldwin was a suprise. Everybody else can burn in hell!! All these heathens are coming out the closet these days and trying to act like being Gay has rights.

  • 12-9-2009 8:36 pm

And How Much is this going to contribute to your putting food on YOUR table tonight or any other night. Whether the person is straight or gay it would have had to been THEIR choice whether by biological means or something that may have triggered something inside of them to say I’m going to try something else, who knows but the fact remains there are a lot of Names left off of this list for list’s sake either by design or choice and it didn’t make a difference one way or the other because at the end of the day when you go to meet your maker you will stand alone so what you do now will have a bearing on what you will face later. I cannot quote the Bible on any particular Scripture but I do believe in God and I believe in me so I’m gonna do me and let what every body else do alone. In other words People I’m gonna Mind my own business and watch the Obstacles in my life and hope that the person or persons around me are watching out for their obstacles so that we don’t have a collision at the same time.

Real ignorant for people to make excuse why these people are gay, because they hate one gender they go 2 the same sex LMFAO! Rediculous. Educate yourselves people. And I knew Wanda was gay when she 1st hit the scene! People are just naive and don’t look at what’s right in their face, which is why 95% of you women are sleepin with a man who messes with men, transexuals and all that. Open Up Your Eyes.

  • 12-6-2009 3:14 am

Wanda must had some bad experiences with men, or she hates them. so ahe preferred woman; 2 and 3 is obvious, but 4. I heard he got ill with blood tramsfusion and contracted the aids, but I don’t think he was gay or messed around with those guys in tights; Arthur Ashe, the greatest male tennis player of all time was NOT gay either, and died the same way Alvin did; know nothing about 5, but 6 is a shock; Billie, thanks to her crappy childhood, had affairs with men and women; 8 I don’t know, but Bessie used to own a railroad car that takes her to various T.O.B.A shows with one car for the guys and the girls and would go to various towns in the U.S. to engage in women sessions OMG, much to the chagrin of her hubby Jack Gee SR.:
10 is obvious; 11 is obious, since he nevere married; Alice just hates men and prefer women; and James Baldwin must went through a whole lot of s**t rejection, scorn and hate, and probably women didin’t like hime enough to have a relationship. so he prefer men…they all made an impact in culture. but OMG!!!!

Not all Christians hate gays. I’m a Christian, but I certainly do not hate gays! In fact, most members of my family are Christian, and they don’t hate gays either. To take this another step further, my nephew is gay! Do you really think that I will condemn him and not love him because of this? I had to watch my nephew go through misery, even when he was a tiny little fellow, because he didn’t know what was “wrong” with him. From the time he was old enough to talk, he said that he wished he was a girl! So you can imagine the taunting that he had to endure when he started school. He had a feminine mannerism even back then, and the other kids quickly picked up on that. They tried to make his life miserable, but he held steady the best he could. Even some of his teachers made snide comments about him. Thankfully, my sister was strong enough and Christian enough to love him and encourage him, which is what a TRUE Christian is all about–loving the HEARTS of people.

So I ask that you not call those who “hate” others ‘Christians,’ because that is a misnomer. The very name Christian means that they are Christ-like—Christ followers, and He never hated anyone, not even those who took His life and defiled His body by nailing Him to a cross! Real Christians love and embrace others without judgment because they KNOW that they are not perfect either. They know that Jesus died for their imperfections because it was the ONLY way that they would have eternal life with God the Father. If Christians were perfect, there would not have been a need for Jesus to die. The truth of it is, not everyone who steps foot in a church is a Christian. Christianity is a WAY OF LIFE, not a title to be place upon individuals who believe in Jesus. Satan believes in Jesus, but he definitely is NOT a Christian!

I thank God that as a Christian, I myself don’t have to be perfect, though I do strive to be the best person that I can be. And often I fail miserably at it! But I keep trying.

I hope that this gives some of you a better opinion of Christians and that you yourselves will not be judgmental of others.

even though the Gay civilization may not seem right to some cultures Christian culture..etc) Christians are not supposed to judge others who are different. All they can do is pray and hope for the best. Christians are not perfect, by a looong shot so they have no right to put down others that may seem different to them. For the people who are Christians, you were not born one. You had to have made mistakes throughout your lives in order to get to a certain point to say, }maybe I need a change”..that was YOUR own choice. so don’t hate on others because its not right.

Personally for me, it doesn’t matter to me. Live your life and if they are happy with their lives, that’s all that matters. There is always something about you that not everyone is going to accept. THAT’S LIFE!!

Actually, NewsOne is the one with this article. It just so happens that BP links NewsOne so I wouldn’t be so quick to say that the editors of BP are the ones trying to push some kind of agenda. And if they were I don’t think they want people to convert to homosexuality. If anything BP is just trying to open up close minded Christians eyes ( I mean those are close minded Christians are the main haters of Gays).

People should not be treated differently because of who they are. Black people on this site should really know this. Replace the word Gay with Nigg** and you want to call in Al Shartpon and Jesse Jackson. How is it okay for a christian to say I hate gays and they are evil but get mad when a racist says the same thing about black people.

I am so curious why Christiains just don’t worry about their self. Why the hell do they have to condemn everyone. Why do you honestly care who is sucking and F’ing people. I admit I hate to see people sag their pants and have their boxers out. I also hate to see Gay kiss and getting freaky in public, but the same goes for heterosexuals. I think PDA (public display of affection) show be kept to a minimum. Holding hands and a quick kiss okay but anything more than that should be kept behind closed doors. so once again why are Christians on a crusade to bash gays. Worry about your damn self and worry about getting to the place you call heaven.

wow now i can bet your bottom dollar that every one on the how has posted a comment to this has sinned one time or another and i though that no one sin was greater than the other. people say homosexuality is glorified on tv and in movies but so is violence, stealing, lying, fornication, adultry and the list goes on and on. i bet all of the holy then though christans on have lived in sin if they still arent, we should remember that we all fall short in the eyes of God right. Then as far the gay rights go i thought that our goverment fought so hard to separate chuch and state but this is the main argument that homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God so therefore gays and lesbians shouldnt have the same rights as stright people. wow.seems to me like their confused arent these the same people who fought to have prayer removed from schools. right, get it together people. God loves us all right? And Jesus died for all of our sins , not just the the stright people right. And im prety sure that them being gay doesnt have any personal effect on you just like you fornicating doesnt have any effect on them we are all equal and sinners in the eyes of God. Im pretty sure when our ancestors were fighting for civil and equal rights it wasnt ment to exclude homosexuals. we all just need to live ours lives the best we can and stop judging people according to color, financial background , sexual orientaion …….. anj we just need to love and learn from one another.

Candyboxxx — no insult intended but that website is terrible. Specifically it is amateurish and visually unappealing. Whatever you are selling — it will sell better with a professionally designed site. Find a web design/programming company.

    P.S — nice looking photo

Alvin Ailey? — Really? — What a suprise!!!

Actually the real suprise was Wanda Sykes declaring the “Love Whose Name Should Not Be Spoken”.

  • 11-18-2009 2:11 pm

Amanwithskillz: you criticised gays for declaring that God made them this way and contrasted this to how crackheads or adulterers make this declaration. This is true, but could it be that many homosexuals ARE born gay? The reason that I ask is because there are chromosonal abnormalities, such as Hermaphroditism (having both male and female sex genitalia and genes) that can cause a person to prefer one sex over the other. Now, not all gays and lesbians are intersexed, but perhaps there are some homosexuals who fall along the continuum of sexuality. There are many things that we still do not understand about homosexuality.

Now, I believe that there are many people out there who are practicing the lifestyle because they are simply hedonistic and libertine…but I don’t even consider them as a part of the mix because I think (and my opinion is subject to change) there is a psychological/behavioral component. Just a thought.
