PEOPLE-BROWN/

From The New York Daily News

A Los Angeles judge postponed sentencing singer Chris Brown on Wednesday, saying she wants documents guaranteeing he’ll do roadside cleanup or other hard labor for beating up Rihanna.

Judge Patricia Schnegg told the R&B star that she doesn’t want him doing easy community service but rather 1,400 hours of “community labor” for smacking around his ex-girlfriend.

“I do not favor community service,” said Schnegg, explaining that she wants to see Brown, 20, outdoors picking up trash or cleaning up graffiti.

Trash pick up? the Judge is trying to embarass him. That’s not fair justice, unless other men in the situation got the same punishment.

examine 100 past cases of others charged with this crime-and- give Chris B the identical punishment they all recieved.

I dated a judge and he was known as “MADDOG” in the court room. He treated people like crap in his courtroom on purpose and just because, truthfully, he could. He told me that he has had so many death threats on he and his family that it was almost inane.

I do not agree with nasty judges taking the action of the accused personally. This appears to be a female judge with a grudge against men hitting on women. And as some people may think it is a great punishment, I seriously think that a community service involving woman battered shelter from both the inside and the outside would not only help Chris but would also help the community as it would allow other men and woman to who perhaps he witnessed the actions of the this type of assault dealing also with the before , midstream and after effects all wrapped up into one.

If men could only see what the woman who step into a battered shelter with their kids, how the tears flow harder than you have ever seen them flow on anyone before in your life, the hurt, the shame that comes with it, the hardship financially, not having a safe home to go back to, the new home environment of having to watch another and another battered woman walk into the shelter with a different bruise or cut or knife wound in her and all of the rest of the torment and unraveling of your life that actually DOES take place….well anyway, picking up trash is not going to humiliate this man and he won’t learn anything by walking outside doing it.

I think a letter needs to be sent to this judge and ask her where her grudge really lies. If you are going to do something judge, do it the right way. This is no longer a game or an action that needs humiliation of any kind. It needs to be taken seriously.

We as black sisters and brothers need to party that Chris and Rhianna gets it and then that this judge gets it too.

I agree with missstrings43….this judge seems to just want to embarrass the boy by making him pick up trash or clean graffiti. What purpose that would serve in this case ..I have no idea. He would be much better off serving his sentence in a womens shelter. He should have to spend 8-10 hours a day at a shelter for battered women so he can see first hand what these women go thru. Better yet…he should be committed to a shelter 24/7 til he’s served all his hours. That way he can see everything these women go thru from the time they first step thru the door. He should have to see them scared to go outside for fear their attackers might be waiting for them. He should be the one to chaperone these women when they have to go outside alone. He should have to see the fear on these women’s kids faces and the tears that they cry and the embarrassment they feel because they don’t have a safe place to call home. He should know what it’s like for these kids to have to go to school from a shelter. Picking up trash or cleaning graffiti is NOT a suitable punishment. This judge should know that Chris doesn’t need to be humiliated any more. He’s had plenty of that. What he needs now is to be EDUCATED!!!
