Taking a picture of a celeb in the airport is not reason enough to be assaulted. I believe that the paparazzi does go to far at times but he didn’t cause Kanye any harm by photographing him. Kanye should be charged.

Yes Kanye should be charged. He assaulted the razzi. Is he superhuman unlike other humans where u attack someone and not get charged? He is being selfish by not letting razzi take a snap bcuz Kanye is keeping them from getting their $10’000 for a shot. They are just doing their job. If kanye didnt want his pic taken, he should paid the guy a few grands. If celebs dont want to be in the light they shouldnt have stepped in the light in the first place.

I belive that the paparazzi go a little to far. Yes it is there jobs, and celebs know going in what they are in store for. Everyone has there bad days though where they dont want to be bothered, and I believe that the paparazzi need to respect when people dont want to be bothered and leave the picture taking to a minimum. If the celebs are going to be arrested for assult then the paparazzi need to be getting arrested for harassment.

The paparazzi should be in jail!! I occasionally catch TMZ and the way they hound those folks while they are having lunch, spending time with their kids, etc is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!

Yeah stardom comes with the price of public exposure but they (the razzi) do take it TOO far!!! WAAAY TOO FAR! Kanye should just offer to pay for the camera and everyone call it a day. The paparazzi had the ass whoopin comin I’m sure. If Kanye was a regular person and someone followed him around and videotaped him and took pictures that person would probably be arrested for harassment. So why is it ok to do that when a person is a celebrity. So what if they have money and are in the public eye. They have a right to privacy just as other non celebrities do.

What a lot of people i think forget is that Kanye West and the rest of these entertainers are people like the rest of us even if their are in the spot light and they also have bad days.I agree with Sweets110 that if West is being charged the paparazzi should be charged also.

I have been saying this for a long time now that being a black person of stature (sports figure, entertainer, politics) AMERICA will make you a star at breakfast time and will turn on you before dinner time….ALWAYS. I say if they want to take a cruise with cpt. a$$ whoop’n then keep taking your pictures. From what the media post most of the time with show’s like TMZ, most of the papparazzi’s are jackasses to begin with. It’s one thing to be a fan or to be scheduled for a photo shoot but if you can’t even get a tank of gas or take your kids to school then yeah, I think you’ll have plenty of bad days. Think about it, you might be at the playground with your kids or taking a family member to lunch or something and then you have a jackass with a camera all up on your face asking you dumb questions like who are you sleeping with or any kind of crazy rumor. So, with that being said then I say Kanye is INNOCENT. Charge the papparazzi and not Kanye. Not a huge fan but one can understand.

personally, i think that the reporter is to blame for this. people fail to realize that superstars are mere humans. kanye asked the reporter to stop taking pics because it was an invasion of his personal time.the guy should take pics at events. when someone asks u to do something, be courteous and do it. but the reporter didn’t. everyone knows kanye’s temper so the guy being dealt with was his own fault. if kanye serves time for this, the reporter should to simply because he provoke a reaction from kanye. now on the hand, kanye saw the reporter was persistant, he should have called a security guard or even the police because the reporter kept bothering him. I repeat not him, not his bodyguard but a security guard of the airport. That way he would be clear but kanye is human and i know i would have popped off too so kanye should just replace the guys equipment, pay for a doctor if the guy needed one and call it a day in the life of kanye west. lol
