This smells like victory! Disney’s first Black princess has had a whirlwind ride into the upper ranks of animated filmdom, but you haven’t really arrived until you’re nominated for an award.

But that day has finally arrived!! “The Princess & The Frog” has been nominated for a “Best Animated Feature Film” Golden Globe Award, according to recently released nominee lists.

The Disney film stands side by side next to popular animated films like “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” and the crowd-favorite, “Up.”
