Well I’m putting up my response to it anyway regardless. To all those that jumped on Kanye West back really need to check themselves and what is in the heartz of men to apologize to Taylor Swift for his actions. Are you that much of a kiss ass online. I swear %#&@$! does come from more than a woman. Have any of you been to a town hall, have any of you wrote or said anything against S.C Joe Wilson, or have any of you said anything about writing %#&@$! on a Air Force 1 plane. Now lets put you back into reality. You are the same ones that make enough time to diss Kanye West. Did I focus get that messed up somewhere a long the line. It is more racism than ever nowadays and you jump on him without knowing the facts. I do not believe he put himself out there unless their was more that goes on behind the scenes than just someone winning a award he believes was not deserved. He is very clear about his points of view in not only his lyrics, but when he is given his own podium to stand on. This was a poor decision on his part, for which an apology to not only Taylor, but to her mother as well, was made on Kanye’s behalf, this morning. Taylor Swift is a teenage girl who has worked her way up The BillBoard Charts and her videos are aired on MTV, therefore giving her just as much right as anyone else to, not only be nominated, but to win an award for her videos. She is a very positive role model for young girls, again, of all races; millions of whom take up the majority of her fan-base. He had ample opportunity to voice his opinion in either the pre/post show interviews. He even had several chances to run up on stage and take the mic from Russel Brand; at least by doing so, he would not have taken away the ~Once in a Life-Time Opportunity~ of accepting what was her first MoonMan Award; the chance she will never be given again. I don’t recall anyone jumping up on stage and snatching away Kanye’s ~Once in a Life-Time Opportunity~.

Finally, the reason it’s being blogged about is because it is one of the main topics being discussed all over America today and has absolutely nothing to do with racism, which unfortunately, shows it’s ugly self on a daily basis. I have a lot of respect for Kanye’s ability and strength to “Keep it Real”, as I feel there is truly no other way to be. Like many, however, I just found his way of doing so, at that very moment, highly disrespectul and out of line.~~

I knew I couldn’t speak any further on the topic itself, until I watched the premere of The Jay Leno Show, featuring none other than, Kanye West. Upon viewing the segment where Jay interviewed Kanye (At Kanye’s request, mind you), I am now able to see things through a more personal viewpoint. I felt Kanye showed sincerity and remorse for his actions and I hope he is able to forgive himself. I also saw an interview with Taylor Swift, who showed forgiveness for his actions as well. Taylor is a Strong Christian Young Lady, which allows her to carry the title of “Role Model” to young girls in today’s twisted vision of who/what young girls should be, simply to be accepted. I have always had a lot of respect for Kanye’s ability to speak his mind, as I am one of the same, but after seeing his interview with Jay Leno, I have a higher respect for him than I had prior to his VMA mishap….He needs Prayer, not conviction…………………………………In closing, Da_J_Rok….I see I need not say another word in reference to your response….You clearly, yet sadly, have proven my point…All On Your Own… ;o) ….God Bless Us All~~

I don’t know anything of this Taylor Swift person, but my heart sunk for her as I watched a poor, excited, wide-eyed kid stand there and publicly go through a plethora of emotions, like confusion and embarrassment to name a few. She was humiliated and it wasn’t because fo anything she did. And for what? So that the glory hound that is Kanye could make a point? He could’ve easily waited for the proper time/forum in which to share his thoughts on the proceedings, and his words would have had a far more profound effect. Instead, he is now discounted as some sort of buffoon. My heart breaks for him, and Ms. Swift. Kanye needs to seek help in learning to control his impulses. I am on his team, always, which is why this sort of thing is so disheartening. SMH…

Personally, I think Kanye should be allowed to perform at the telethon. Maybe he does have some temper issues but what he said about George Bush was very accurate, although Kanye could have picked a better forum to voice his opinion. I do not condone what he did to Taylor Swift, although I think that award was, shall we say, arranged.

The only thing wrong with Kanye West is that he needs to choose the forums he uses to voice his opinion more discreetly. In my opinion, his remark about George Bush was right on point. Did Katrina not teach us anything?

Who ever thought up this byline better hope Jesus is walking with them, because for them to be so judgemental of another, he might not want to walk with them. Kanye is a man, men make mistakes, why does Jesus have to be brought into the picture? This is just a man made issue of controversy. Using Jesus to increase readers, hits, etc. People see it for what is it. Whoever thought this up don’t give a hoot about Jesus or they would have picked another way to get their point across.
