The mega-ABC hit show “Dancing With the Stars” (DWTS) hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet announced live on Tuesday’s “Good Morning America” that Sherri Shepherd (pictured), Gladys Knight, and Jaleel White are among their celeb picks for their 14th season.

Shepherd, 44, one of the hosts of the popular morning talk show “The View,” will “get on the good foot” as she is whirled around by dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy.  Shepard, who is also an actress and comedienne, is sure to keep her partner in stitches as she attempts to keep up with his dance routines.

At 67 years young, the Empress of Soul Gladys Knight will also show us her dance moves. The seven-time Grammy Award winner and grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of three has been touring over the last few years and last September released an updated recording of the classic hit “I (Who Have Nothing)” on iTunes and Amazon.  Knight will be partnered with Tristan MacManus.

Another eye-opening DWTS selection is actor White, whose “Steve Urkel” character on the ’90s sitcom “Family Matters” gave him an unshakable brand that has made it difficult for him to land acting roles. Once the series was canceled in 1998 after a successful nine-year run, White was once quoted as saying during an interview, “If you ever see me do that character again, take me out and put a bullet in my head and put me out of my misery.”

The 35-year-old’s acting roles have been few and far between since he has become an adult.  White did make headlines in 2010, when his baby mama accused him of punching and slapping her but he was cleared of any wrongdoing.  White will heat up the floor with Kym Johnson.

Another DWTS addition is Roshon Fagan, a 20-year-old rapper, dancer, and actor who is a Disney tween heartthrob.  He will probably have the upper hand on his competitors.  Fagan, who is half Filipino and half African American, is known for his role as “Sander Loyer” in the Disney Channel movie franchise “Camp Rock” and for the character “Ty Blue” on the channel’s original series “Shake It Up!”  He will be paired with Chelsie Hightower.

Finally, NFL pro-baller Donald Driver, a Super Bowl champ, will be coached by DWTS’ Peta Murgatroyd. As a child, Driver, his mother, and three other siblings lived a day-to-day existence that was always on the verge of homelessness.  He and his older brother turned to stealing cars and selling drugs to make ends meet, but once he was shipped off to his paternal grandparent’s house to live, his life changed dramatically for the better.  Since then, the 37-year-old all-time leading receiver is etched in Green Bay Packers history.

Other DWTS contestants will include Jack Wagner (“Melrose Place” actor ), Melissa Gilbert (“Little House on the Prairie” actress), William Levy (telenovela star), Katherine Jenkins (opera diva), Gavin DeGraw (singer), Martina Navratilova (pro-tennis champ), and  Maria Menounos (TV host).

The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” begins Monday, March 19, at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC-TV.
