Nicki Minaj‘s bid for world domination has just taken a new direction with her recent announcement. The petite chart-topping rapper has just announced that she is working on two books. As far as who the publisher will be, mums the word, reports EURweb.

On Twitter, Minaj wrote, ”Wrkng on 2 books actually…,” after someone asked her if she would ever write a book.

And this would be just the tip of the iceberg for the Barbie of Hip-Hop. Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, has already contracted with two elite companies, MAC cosmetics and nail polish manufacturer OPI, and also plans to negotiate a deal with a famed fashion house to create her own line of clothing.
The 29-year-old rap diva, who is the first female solo artist to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the same time, signed a unique deal with Young Money Universal back in 2009 that had tongues wagging because she retains and owns all of her 360 rights (contracts that allow a record label to receive a percentage of the earnings from all of an artist’s activities instead of just record sales), including merchandising, sponsorships, endorsements, touring, and publishing.
Once when Minaj met mega-performer, producer, and businessman extraordinaire Jay-Z at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show, she says she told him that she was “coming for him.” “Yeah, I’m coming for you. I’m coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul,” states Allure Magazine.
She also told Vibe Magazine that being a woman in the music industry isn’t going to put the brakes on her being successful. “It’s not hard to get your way when it’s your way or the highway. People either follow suit or they’re not around,” Nicki said. “I don’t really like the sound of that, ‘cause that sounds like a temper tantrum. I’m just very black and white when it comes to my business. There’s really no gray area. I really don’t have a lot of small talk with people I work with. It’s pretty much let’s get the job done. In the beginning, if people didn’t know me they’d probably assume I wasn’t smart or wasn’t business savvy. But once you sit and talk to me, it’s a different story.”
