@Blkman. If Espn has suspended Bobby for making what they view as an inappropriate remark, what does that have to do with Blacks calling someone racist, and what Blacks on this site call each other. I fail to see the connection.

He is more ignorant then he is racist.Most older people tend to think every bronze skin person is a Mexican. And blackman6ft6 and divine souls have damn good points. Blacks are starting to act more and more like the whites that oppressed them for so long. My fiance is a light skinned Dominican. Even though her mother is a few shades darker then mine I still hear racist comments from some of my relatives. To them I somehow betrayed my race by dating outside my race. Once again it’s pure ignorance and unwilling to learn about other cultures. The only difference between Dominicans and blacks in the U.S. is language. Both of our ancestors come from African slaves. Personally I never saw race. What I see is pale and different shades of brown. Skin color is a product of your ancestor’s environment.

Im not surprised by Juan Pablo Montoya’s reaction to Griesey’s comments, he’s a true race car driver. From his days in CART and F1 and now NASCAR he never lets anything distract or deters his focus from driving thats the mark of a true champion. How much do you know about Dominican culture? Have you been to the DR? What about Washington Heights,NY. Not all but MANY Dominicans have been hostile and racist towards African Americans since I first encountered them in 1998 in NYC. Dominicans don’t even like to admit that they are the descendants of Africans who were enslaved during the Afro-Caribbean/translantic slave trade. They prefer to state that they are “latin”. I have had Dominicanos tell me that I am a N**** and denigrate African Americans and they had the nerve to live in Harlem, the place where African Americans have made significant contributions to AA culture, art and history. Read Junot Diaz’s book The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao to learn about Dominican racism, “color struck” issues as a result of or in the face of colonialism and oppression and history then state whether we are racist towards others or is it mutually symmetrical. Habla espanol? or are u learning it?
