1. L.A. Clippers- Blake Griffin- No shock here, the Clippers need all the help they can get. I’ll be nice and leave it at that.

Position: PF
Height: 6-foot-10
Weight: 245 pounds
Age: 20
School: Oklahoma

2. Memphis Grizzlies- Hasheem Thabeet- Having a big man is becoming very important in this league and seems like a necessity for winning championships. Now Thabeet is certainly not polished on the offensive side of the ball, but his 7’3 frame and uncanny shot blocking ability can anchor a defense. With some work on the offensive side of the ball, Thabeet has the potential to become a force.

Position: C
Height: 7-3
Weight: 265
Age: 22
School: Connecticut

3. Oklahoma City Thunder- Ricky Rubio- Rubio may possibly be over-rated in my eyes, but who else can Oklahoma City take? If they are looking for a distributor to feed rising stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook then Rubio is the perfect fit. Now if the Grizzlies happen to take Rubio, which is a high possibility, then expect the Thunder to grab Thabeet.

4. Sacramento Kings- James Harden

Position: SG
Height: 6-4
Weight: 215
Age: 19
School: Arizona State

5. Washington Wizards- Jordan Hill- Don’t really see them taking a guard like other mock drafts projected, simply not enough basketball’s to go around for Gilbert “Hibachi” Arenas. A big man is there strongest need, as I really don’t think Brendan Haywood is the answer. Seriously!

Position: PF
Height: 6-9
Weight: 235
Age: 21

6. Minnesota Timberwolves- Tyreke Evans- With McHale finally out of the picture, picking up Evans would be a good idea, as I believe he can become a star 2 guard in this league.

Position: SG
Height: 6-6
Weight: 220
Age: 19
School: Memphis

7. Golden State Warriors- Stephen Curry- This may surprise some people, but I think Curry is the perfect fit for the Warriors run-and-shoot system. Enough said.

Position: PG
Height: 6-3
Weight: 185
Age: 21
School: Davidson

8. New York Knicks- Demar DeRozen- I’m personally not that high on DeRozen, seeing that he might have left School a little prematurely. But nonetheless, the Knick’s could sure use the star attraction of a young athlete, not to mention that DeRozen does have the potential to become a good player.

9. Toronto Raptors- Jrue Holiday

Position: PG
Height: 6-4
Weight: 200
Age: 18
School: UCLA

10. Milwaukee Bucks- Brandon Jennings- After spending a season in Europe, Jennings has definitely elevated his game from where it was in high school. I expect that playing in Europe made him a more mature ball player. The Bucks could definitely use his talent at the point guard position.

Position: PG

11. New Jersey Nets- Earl Clark

Position: SF
Height: 6-9

Age: 21
School: Louisville

12. Charlotte Bobcats- James Johnson

Position: PF
Height: 6-9
Weight: 245
Age: 22
School: Wake Forest

13. Indiana Pacers- Ty Lawson- Ok, don’t jump out your chair! Yes I have Ty Lawson going this high contrary to other mock drafts, who had him going in the early twenty’s. This guy was the best point guard in the nation, and won a National Championship, need I say more?  Scouts always get caught up with height being an issue, which is ridiculous; just look at Jameer Nelson. Ty Lawson’s play on the court speaks for itself and I think he will be a solid point guard for the Indiana Pacers.

oh shoot you think memphis is gonna pass on rubio for thabeet, intriguing.

Curry is my favorite in this draft. He’s just got so many weapons on offense. And Rubio might be over his head, idk about him.

Tyrke Evans and Earl Clark will be the best in this draft besides Blacke Griffin. Thabeet is gonna be hit or miss…same for Rubio. He did pretty good for the Spanish national team so I can’t completely write him off

Blake Griffin is overrated and will be another bust. Jonny Flynn from Syracuse is hella slept on in this draft. Hopefully my Hawks draft well with their 2 draft picks.

@tallerthanyou, calm down now, Thabeet is not that good. Don’t get me wrong, Thabeet is an outstanding player. But he is no where near as athletic and explosive as Dwight Howard and his offensive game in no where near Patrick Ewing. Thabeet’s game is a lot more similar to another former Georgetown Hoya, Dikembe Mutumbo.
