UPDATE: Woods Allegedly Paid Woman For Her Silence On Affair

“Unforeseen circumstances” was the only explanation given for a canceled news conference that was expected to shed light on the relationship between Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel, the 34-year-old woman first connected to the star golfer.

Sources say those “unforeseen circumstances” stem from a last-minute deal between Woods and Uchitel worth upwards of $1 million, in order to keep quiet about her real story. (Uchitel’s attorney, Gloria Allred, had no comment.)

Uchitel initially told the New York Post there was no affair nor any text messages between herself and Woods, and some believe that denial also had to do with money. Some sources say Uchitel was receiving financial help from Woods prior to the National Enquirer story that initially linked the two. (Allred did not respond to comment requests on this point.)

[10:00 a.m. - 12/3/2009] – Report: Woman Who Denied Affair With Tiger Woods To Admit She Lied

The first woman named in the Tiger Woods mistress scandal, who had previously denied any affairs with the golfer, now says she did in fact have a sexual relationship with him — and that her text messages set his wife flying into an angry rage the night of his crash.

Rachel Uchitel was named in a National Enquirer story as having an affair with Woods, which she denied in a tell-all interview to The Post where she blatantly lied about her history with Tiger.

Now, after several other women have come forward claiming to have had affairs with the father of two, Uchitel is changing her tune, TMZ.com is reporting.

Uchitel, who hired power lawyer Gloria Allred as soon as the news of Tiger’s accident broke, is holding a 11:30 a.m. PT news conference and is expcted to issue a statement admitting the affair.

    The latest word is that Uchitel is in negotiation for a million-dollar pay day from Tiger. It’s all about the M-O-N-E-Y. Even Tiger’s wife views his indiscretion as a means to garner more money. She is demanding that the original prenuptials be re-written, where she will be entitled to $55 million, instead of the $5 million that she would have received if these adulterous bouts did not come to light.     You know, I have to agree that it does seem that “IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY” However, what I do not understand is that a lot of brothers will be the first ones to hollar that we sisters are “GOLD DIGGERS”. And the irony of it is that the brothers that are saying this don’t have anything, gold or otherwise to dig for. W-E-L-L to my dear sistahs I say….take note how these women of other races are working it. They go straight for the real money makers and the brothers fall for it, hook, line, and sinker and you don’t hear not one brother complaining about it. As a matter of fact they are willing to pay these women even more money not to leave them. Sounds like another form of slavery to me. Go figure!!! And what’s worst is that the women they choose are not exactly higher ups on the social, educational or professional level. Well maybe on the professional level (wink). There seems to be a pattern here to put and to keep money making brothers in their places by any means necessary. Check it out, diseases, prison, drugs and now their women. To my brothers I say…..GET A CLUE.
