OPINION: “Kobe: I Still Don’t Like You!”
Dear Kobe,
You suck. You make me a hypocrite cause I used to say that nobody who won a championship could suck but— there you go. I couldn’t even watch the game. I passed out. When I woke up, you were covered in grease, wearing one of those stupid hats, holding the Larry O’Brien trophy and talking to one of those bozos on ESPN. It was like seeing Darth Vader wearing a swastika armband giving the American Presidential Inaugural address in the voice of Bobcat Goldthwait—everything about it was wrong.
Before you came into the league, I was like, “I don’t like this guy.” You were taking Brandy to your prom and had your face all tight like you were carrying liquid explosives in a cocktail glass. I was thinking, “All right, dog. That’s good for you. You got Brandy, now leave us alone.”
But no.
Then you shot airballs and lost in your first playoff series against the Jazz and I was like, “Ha! Iverson’s better.” Then you started winning. I attributed it to Shaq. Guilty of post-coital rape of a hotel clerk in Denver cause you made her feel like a fool after the fact and what’d you do? You blamed Shaq! What did Shaq have to do with it, dog? You still ain’t answer that one. Then you ran Shaq out of town.
Don’t let me sound like a lunatic here, though. I never fronted on your skills. I always admitted to your superfan, N’Gai Croal, who’s probably watching porn right now in his Laker jersey and calling the male star Kobe (I don’t wanna suggest what else he’s doing) that I’d take you on the Knicks in a heartbeat. I even named a character after you in that book that I self-published and that only my closet friends and family bought. Trust me dog, that Kobe is NOT the hero.
But in fairness, this win moves you onto my own personal Top Ten All-Time list. You and Clyde Frazier come off the bench behind Jordan and Magic and while there’s not too much of a drop off in scoring, my defense actually improves.
I ain’t ever gonna like you, dog.

1) one arguement stated the only reason he is good is because he practice. Dude that is really dumb. to be good at something you must practice. to be great you do extra. if you want to pass the math test you study. dont be a dumb ass all your life
2) comparing jordan and kobe about the martial affairs is really dumb also. first your married life has nothing to do with the game. also jordan was a habitual cheater. that is why his exwife got half. thus is why he playing basketball with executives to make extra money.
stop tripping it is a game. it is nothing earth shattering . who cares about a game. i did not even know the nba finals were on. i dont care. i will not get paid if they won or lost.
There is only 1 truth, regardless of opinions. To be an icon, it takes more than physical skill. Ali, Jordan, Montana, Elway, Bird, Russell, Mays, Gretzky, etc etc….has much more than that. Kobe will never reach that level, where no matter where you are, everyone will applaud your presence.
Jordan was at a Laker game and when the spectators noticed him, the entire Staples Arena applauded him….during active play on the court!!! The fact that Kobe is China’s favorite athlete is only because Jordan is retired and Lebron is not at his prime yet. He is still filling the void temporarily.
Anyone can practice an extra few hours a day shooting and increase their shooting %. Both Jordan and Bird did it and Lebron will do it too. What makes these 2 stand out from b***h Kobe is the fact they were all known for all around skills that Kobe would be nothing without his extra practice. Lebron was more exciting in high school than Kobe is now. Lebron is as dangerous going to the hole in half the time it took Kobe to get there and Lebron is still more dangerous.
Lebron makes the hole even when is there is none, Jordan could always find the hole and by the time defense figured it out, it was too late….if you really pay attention to Kobe….he only drives when he has a clear hole.
Be real…the reason the Lakers won is because for some reason the Cavs support staff (namely, Mo Williams), just shut down come Conference Finals.
Kobe can shoot, but that’s all he can do. He complains about everything….never have you seen an all-star b***h like Kobe does, even to the man that surpassed Red Auerbach as the greatest coach of all time.
If you are a true sports fan, you will value sportsmanship and integrity of the game as much as the game itself. The Cavs have it, the Celtics have it, and the Magic are gaining it. To the EAST!!!

Wow. There’s a lot of Kobe/Laker haten’ going on. What most of you haters don’t realize, is the fans in Cali really don’t give a %uck how you feel about the Lakers Championship. That’s why over 200,000 fans showed up for the parade. No other team in any sport has ever filled up any stadium or arena for a celebration. Fans were running along side Kobe’s bus chanting, “MVP” from the Staples Center, to the collisium. I went to the last four previous celebrations starting with the Magic Johnson lead team in 1987. There were maybe 20,000 in ‘87. The Shaq 3peat teams maybe had 50,000 or so. As for those who think the ref’s favored the Lakers? BS! Look at all the physical fouls Houston and Denver got away with. Elbows to the back of the head on box-outs. Tripping cutters to the basket. Throwing players in the stands. Come on. What Playoffs were you haters watching. No one complained when Paul Pierce, err Willis Reed lead Celtics physically man handled the Lakers into a championship last year. Everyone said the Lakers were soft.
