It is one thing to express a personal opinion that has substance and makes sense, but rather you chose this forum to promote your hatred Rush Limbaugh type of garbage against Kobe who in my view was exonerated by the very justice system that you have very oftened bemoaned about. Some of you people are real dumb a&ses.

1) one arguement stated the only reason he is good is because he practice. Dude that is really dumb. to be good at something you must practice. to be great you do extra. if you want to pass the math test you study. dont be a dumb ass all your life

2) comparing jordan and kobe about the martial affairs is really dumb also. first your married life has nothing to do with the game. also jordan was a habitual cheater. that is why his exwife got half. thus is why he playing basketball with executives to make extra money.

stop tripping it is a game. it is nothing earth shattering . who cares about a game. i did not even know the nba finals were on. i dont care. i will not get paid if they won or lost.

There is only 1 truth, regardless of opinions. To be an icon, it takes more than physical skill. Ali, Jordan, Montana, Elway, Bird, Russell, Mays, Gretzky, etc etc….has much more than that. Kobe will never reach that level, where no matter where you are, everyone will applaud your presence.

Jordan was at a Laker game and when the spectators noticed him, the entire Staples Arena applauded him….during active play on the court!!! The fact that Kobe is China’s favorite athlete is only because Jordan is retired and Lebron is not at his prime yet. He is still filling the void temporarily.

Anyone can practice an extra few hours a day shooting and increase their shooting %. Both Jordan and Bird did it and Lebron will do it too. What makes these 2 stand out from b***h Kobe is the fact they were all known for all around skills that Kobe would be nothing without his extra practice. Lebron was more exciting in high school than Kobe is now. Lebron is as dangerous going to the hole in half the time it took Kobe to get there and Lebron is still more dangerous.

Lebron makes the hole even when is there is none, Jordan could always find the hole and by the time defense figured it out, it was too late….if you really pay attention to Kobe….he only drives when he has a clear hole.

Be real…the reason the Lakers won is because for some reason the Cavs support staff (namely, Mo Williams), just shut down come Conference Finals.

Kobe can shoot, but that’s all he can do. He complains about everything….never have you seen an all-star b***h like Kobe does, even to the man that surpassed Red Auerbach as the greatest coach of all time.

If you are a true sports fan, you will value sportsmanship and integrity of the game as much as the game itself. The Cavs have it, the Celtics have it, and the Magic are gaining it. To the EAST!!!

See what would have happened if Gasol got injured. There would be NO VICTORY in L.A.. S**t…Derek Fisher got them this ring, if you want to be honest.

Wow. There’s a lot of Kobe/Laker haten’ going on. What most of you haters don’t realize, is the fans in Cali really don’t give a %uck how you feel about the Lakers Championship. That’s why over 200,000 fans showed up for the parade. No other team in any sport has ever filled up any stadium or arena for a celebration. Fans were running along side Kobe’s bus chanting, “MVP” from the Staples Center, to the collisium. I went to the last four previous celebrations starting with the Magic Johnson lead team in 1987. There were maybe 20,000 in ’87. The Shaq 3peat teams maybe had 50,000 or so. As for those who think the ref’s favored the Lakers? BS! Look at all the physical fouls Houston and Denver got away with. Elbows to the back of the head on box-outs. Tripping cutters to the basket. Throwing players in the stands. Come on. What Playoffs were you haters watching. No one complained when Paul Pierce, err Willis Reed lead Celtics physically man handled the Lakers into a championship last year. Everyone said the Lakers were soft. I guess no one likes it when the kid who gets bullyed, fights back and wins. Scoreboard. Lakers 2009 Champs!

Now, I was not rooting for the Laker at all, but you have to admit that the Lakers were mobilized to win. They had all those perimeter shooters, Ariza, Fisher, Odoms. Then they had Poaol Gosol in the paint. Wow! They won fairly and I ain’t mad at them. Kobe demonstrated excellent leadership skills and he won. This championship is Kobe’s to sulk. What cha got to say now, Shaq? He did it without you. LOL I ain’t mad at Kobe. Ain’t nobody was complaining when Paul the “a*****e” Pierce was shooting his chops and taunting and galavanting.

I cannot believe that there are still people out here hating on Kobe Bryant and they don’t even have a legitimate reason. By legitimate I mean – What the hell did he do to you personally? Farmar didnt play great, Vujacic didnt, Luke didnt nobody else picked Ariza to be that good when he got traded, Lamar and Pau couldnt win when they were by themselves either. Thats why its called TEAM. I agree Kobe isnt the most charismatic, and he doesn’t have a great storyline, and he has done some hoeish s**t, Shaq has ran to the media way more, and he’s more of a media soundbyte, and that did alot of damage to Kobe’s character. But yea with the wife he has and the colorado situation, and the fact that he never got the college experience and never had to really humble himself, Kobe is a polarizing player but great nonetheless u cant take away what he has done personally and teamwise. He needs Magic’s charm on top of that though, and Mike’s ability to gain the respect of his peers and teammates and coaches.

The rules have changed…defenses are much more open now..not like the old New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons where they were getting away with murder. Jordan was doubled/triple team on many occasions and didn’t rely on refs calling fouls..Kobe can score at will with these defenses..and when he can’t score..he just drives to get a cheap call so he can add to his point total at the foul line…he can’t break double and triple teams like the greats did in crucial moments.

People forget that the key players in “Kobe’s” championships were Derek Fisher and Robert Horry. people are saying kobe is in the top five of all-time greats behind jordan and magic, what about Bird, Pippen (ok maybe not Pippen), Oscar Robinson, David Robinson, Kareem, Hakeem, Barkley, Malone, Malone (yes I know I said that twice), Stockton, and the man that started it all Dr. J, how is kobe above these greats, sure he won four but the lakers are the yankees of the nba, they don’t win championships, they buy them.
