I 100% agree with Steve Harvey. Yea women need to do work also, but when it comes down to it, women are scared and it always leads back to a man (a boyfriend, a lover, brother, father figure, etc…). Yea a girls mother couldve been out here in the streets and forcing bad habits on her daughter, but somewhere along the line, it goes back to a man. The issue is more deeper than “oh they should’ve used a condom” or “oh she just going after him because he has nice things”. C’mon people its way deeper than that, and what Steve Harvey said is the truth. NOT MAKING EXCUSES 4 WOMEN! its kind of like blacks today and how our flaws are showing at an all time high, it comes from being oppressed for centuries, the same goes for women because even though black people are acting out now, blacks as a whole are getting better, the issue of sexism still exists. And black women have been born with 2 strikes, being black and being a woman so I think this is another contribution to women especially minority women are making poor choices. Our men are damaged and our women are scared.
black women today need to look deeper at man. Instead what he looks like , what he drives, what he wears on his back, and how much money in his bank account. Black womeen stopping falling for all smoothing mom wioth so much swagger. take at look into your self
I totally agree with butterflycover. This article has been review 280 so far and only six comments right now including mine. I am a 23 yr. single mother of a little boy. It is not easy i stay stress out I always end up cutting my hair because being stressed takes out my hair. I work 12 hrs a day and I’m full time student. I do not live in a nice neighborhood what so ever. But I refuse to settle in 5 yrs. I will be a doctor I bust my butt to do what i have to do for me and me son to have a better life. We all have choices to make And I encourage everyone to make and effort to secure you future. Life will never be a cake walk but its up to us.
As black women do not fill bad
that you have several children
if that is the case, because you have something special.If
you have a child and you know
who the father is make sure you
get child support for the child
because that is his obligation
to provide support. Mothers keep your head up and stay positive for your children(child) because they’re going
to depend on you for that love
they need,but also if the father wants to be involved
in the childs life and he paying child support please
let him do so,treat each other
with respect so the child can
grow up knowing this.Even though you may not be with the
father both parties show love
to the child and respect each
other in front of the child
always tell the child that you
love them(him or her)neither
parent needs to talk bad about
the other to the child. Stay
focus with the task at hand and
that is raising the child be

Well I am a black woman that takes pride in herself.. I am 24 years old w/o any children and I’m in school pursuing a bachelor’s degree so to say that all black women have 3 or 4 children by different men is not being realistic and these black women are not having kids by themselves..U can not put all the blame on the black woman because it is the black man that is impregnating these women and leaving..Straight Like THAT!!
if women took their time and examined themselves they would realize that they are worth more than a quick roll in the hay,they would attract better quality men,and also wake up women! having babies by these men is NOT going to keep them with you!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!
i think black women need to start taking pride in themselves and stop haveing babies by loser men who dont plan on being with them and what is it with this 3 and 4 kids with diffrent sperm donors that sickening to me.
Always little or no posts on important subjects such as this. Blacks need to wake up and pay attention to important matters.I am a single mother of one daughter and it is very hard to do it alone. Child support is not enough from either party.
