I know that some of these comments are old, however, some of you are very ignorant. This determination had nothing to do with Obama! He doesn’t issue medical guidelines! What is wrong with you? Obama’s health care plan would in fact make it EASIER for women to get screening and treatment for their medical problems. After all, how many women without insurance get cancer screenings. Stop being ridiculous people. Obama is not a doctor and he doesn’t make medical recommendations for specific procedures.

I am a 33 year old African American woman with a family history of Breast Cancer. As a responsible adult I have been getting Mammograms since the age of 27 trying to take the proper precautions before it is too late. I do not think that those involved with making these changes have had to endure seeing a loved-one suffer from this particular disease which happens to hit the African American community much harder that any other. I see this attempt as another way for society to pull African American women down crushing yet another hope that we may have to find a cure that is very much needed.

This is just another source of genecide, I am a Breast Cancer Survivor that was diagnosed when I was 48yrs. My cancer was found 15 days after I buried my only sister to Breast Cancer. Some cancers are EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE. I am now a volunteer with The Reach To Recovery Program (American Cancer Society), and my Prayer to God was if I survived that I would help other women be informed of the Importance of Mammograms and Early Detection and Treatment. Please Ladies Dont fall for this new delay in exams, this will allow the medical community to put you life in danger and put you more and pain and suffering, but in exchange make MORE MONEY from the medical and pharmacies.

Also, keep in mind, its been reported that not ONE oncologist was a part of this panel that made the suggestion. Until I hear otherwise, I will accept that as a fact. If this is the case, who the hell could have been on this panel, that was qualified enough to make this decision? Since cancer treatment professionals have not endorsed it, ask yourself, who is behind this, and why isn’t Obama’s reform plan dealing with the INSURANCE CARRIERS?

To all you STILL blinded by Obamanomics, please understand what is apparently going on here. This panel has decided that Mammograms are no longer needed when a woman hits 40. In essence, if this were to be followed, guess who wins? Health Insurance providers who would make billions more per year not having to pay for these tests, OR covering the costs associated with cancer detection and subsequent treatment. What does that have to do with Obama? Well his so called health care reform is a bunch of BS that not only protects the healthcare insurers, but actually makes them Billions more. Anyone wonder why no healthcare insurance provider has come out against Obama’s healthcare reform plan? If this plan was really going to change the system and make it more fair for you and I, you don’t think the providers would be raising hell now? Obama is doing what every other President has done and that is maintain status quo. WAKE UP!!
