I am a Post 9/11 veteran ever since i was released from the military in february 26th, 2010. Before I got released I was in the gulf and I have been trying to get in the army because I feel that the civilian life is not for me, alot of my fellow soldiers told me to not get out, because simply of my mental state. But when I found out I couldn’t get into the army I lost it. Ever since I’ve been out of the military, and back into the civilian world I looked at people like they were cattle. I started thinking in ways that I never thougtht before. What happened with these girls was a process of corruption. For some people its hard to see what’s going on in the inside, when the outside is so different. From now and the years to come things are gonna start getting a little weird. Damn, this is messed up but not at all surprising. Parents’ rights have been eroded in the name of political correctness or some childless idiot psychologist’s theories so much over the past decade or so that these kids grow up thinking they are entitled to the fantasy land lifestyle they see on tv without having to actually work for it.

I can’t speak on what happened in that home, and I don’t have to. The facts we know of are:

1. The twins lied during the initial interview. If there were some kind of abuse or other justification for murder, they would have said so at this point. Most domestic abuse murders are crimes of passion, committed in the midst of or directly prior to/after an incident of abuse. If that were the case, the average person is not going to have the presence of mind to formulate a false alibi and lie to detectives, let alone the average 16 year old. Only psychopaths or people who have planned the murder ahead of time are capable of that kind of emotional disconnect.

2. The twins were people of interest in the case since day one of the four month investigation, more than likely because seasoned homicide detectives are going to know when they’re being lied to by two possibly spoiled teenagers from the suburbs who just killed their mother.

Man this could have been one of those female stand offs that women often get into. Believe me I was raised around women, and when there are too many under one roof arguments can sometimes turn into brutality. In society today we want to treat our children as if they are adults and they actually understand what the hell is going on around them. We are wrong. The designation of someone as a child carries with it that they are immature, unaware and need to be instructed. These are children. The first mistake we make is giving way too many privileges to these knuckleheads. I raised my two and I whooped their butts if and when they made a decision to disrespect me or their mother, period! What was missed in this household was discipline and authority. As old as my children are now, 35 and 31 you couldn’t melt one of them down and pour them on top of me. Are you speaking from a opinion standpoint or actual facts? Because abused victims DO NOT automatically speak on any abuse no matter how brutal it is. Read up, do some research before making guesses. Secondly, they lied during the initial interview, yes that was a big mistake, does it automatically means guilt? No. Thirdly, they were persons of interest–dont you find that strange considering the police said there was no motive? How did they become persons of interest without anything more than cirumstantial evidence and no motives? If they had, they wouldve had grounds for arrest from day one and not have been LOOKING for more circ**stantial evidence to get the order.

How does it take 4 months, if it was that apparent of their crimes? And I didn’t say abuse victims come right out and admit their abuse, I said that if an abused person is driven to murder than they are not going to lie and make up some story about they found that person there. Every situation in which a person’s children are not living with them is due to parental abuse, without question. Never mind the fact that it’s been reported that the reason the twins were living with their grandmother was because they assaulted their mother a year and a half ago. And here’s a lil hint on how police work operates: When there is circ**stantial evidence, that makes a person a “person of interest”. Once the police investigate and find actual evidence, then that person is no longer a person of interest and becomes a suspect. Once they have enough evidence that they can actually prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, you cease becoming a suspect and they charge you on orders from the District Attorney, like these twins in question just were. Police work takes time, 4 months is NOT a lot of time to solve a murder with no witnesses. Police and District Attorneys are held to a higher standard of proof than BP chatters, so believe they’re not going to move for an arrest or indictment in such a public case until they feel they had all their ducks in a row. They’re not going to risk having egg on their face like that. And that comes from having family members in law enforcement on both the police and legal sides, in case you were wondering. Also, there is ALWAYS a motive to a crime. You should have read that as “no clear motive.”

I never made mention of “stoning devils” or any other such nonsense. I also never offered a “guess” or even an opinion that they were definitely guilty. I only spoke from my experience after I had, as you mentioned “did my research” and “learned the facts”, something you apparently neglected to do.

As I sit here and read these comments I am just shocked that people still think this way. This unfortunate tragedy has nothing to do with skin color, there are just as many blacks killing blacks as there are whites killing whites. There have been so many whites that killed their parents and even sitters and brothers for that matter. This isn’t even something that should be in comparison. Either way, black, white or any other race this is unacceptable. Somewhere these girls missed out on some major parenting and discipline. We have to keep our children closer and have relationships with them as their parents and not as their friends. We need to know as much about them as possible, ask about school, friends, etc. The more we know the better no matter how uncomfortable the child is. This is our job as parents. I just thinks it’s extremely sad that this happened but trust me there is far more to this story than we know. It’s just pure idiocy that many of you have the comments you have on this subject and it’s sad to make it about race. To many of you who I know damn well didn’t watch the whole one hour news report on the twins. Jas was the one who felt remorse for what she done. Tas is the defiant and leader of the two. She had a boyfriend who dropped out of high school she spent too much time with. It is rare to hear a black child/children killing their parents and they came from a loving home and there was no abuses or drugs involved.

I saw them on Nancy Grace and another show before that and not once did they brought race into. The only thing Nancy wanted to know was why the twins from such a good background would killed their mother who not a single person have a bad word to say about. When they got to the boyfriend who was a dropped out that Tas spent whatever time she wanted with him against her family’s wishes the answer was there for all to see.

Last, so many other young women are being controlled/influenced by boyfriends who just seem damn hell on destroying their lives. This is and have been going on in the hoods, suburbs, cities and small towns all over. What is it about these young men regardless of their races that can make young women do the most vile things is something to check about.

There was a doc**entary about a white girl age 13 in Canada who had a 20 or 21 year old white boyfriend that influenced her in such a bad way (he didn’t abuse her but made her thought she was powerfully than her parents) that she killed both her parents and little brother. This girl came out of jail before she was 25 under a new name. People in Canada was disgusted that she would be out since how do anyone know she wouldn’t do the same crime again?

As far as I know and studied if a person be it a man/woman young/old is willing to do anything for someone than they should be held accountable for their actions. From what family and friends said they and many other people were terrified of the twins especially of Tas. Sometimes there is such a thing as a bad seed and as I watched Tas she do looked like one still defiantly with no remorse whatsoever she killed her mother with her sister Jas’ help.

I don’t know because a girl in my program has a mother who is purely EVIL. As a mother of two teenager daughters, I agree that when they reach the ages of 16, they become belligerent and disrespectful. I have that problem with my 17yr old because there are times when I try to tell her to do something she doesn’t want to do it or she chooses to ignore me so when I tell her again, she gets mad and wants to talk back. These girls committed the crime of killing their mother because one of the videos stated that it was not the first time that they had attacked their mother. They attacked her when they were 14 and were removed from the home and placed with their grandmother. Children will rise against their parents and in this day and age its happening on a regular basis. This does not mean that we are bad parents, children are just taken in by so many things that they see on television and much of the rap lyrics that they are listening to. My daughter has a rap song that she listens to and sings every time she gets mad at me and I make her turn it off. Because it’s the words that they feel that they can relate to rather than listening to what we are trying to tell them. I love my children and I’m not perfect but there’s no reason that a child should rise up against their parent!

Our Society is messed up, no longer do we have two parents in the household. That mother was forced to be the nurturer and the provider. It’s hard enough for one child but she had twins. Sad sad sad. I saw this story on Nancy Grace and a few other shows and it sickened me. Watching one feel remorse and saying how bad she feels now is just gut-wrenching. There’s no remorse for what you and your sister did sweetheart, what you’re feeling now is the consequences of what you two did falling down around you. Your mother’s gone, you’re about to endure some jail time because trust me there is no judge on earth that will find that acceptable, and quite frankly no sympathy. You thought your mother was a problem you will find out what a true problem is when the bars slam shut behind you. No talking back without an ass whipping, no respect, and above all else no freedom. I know that there should be forgiveness from God on this situation but unfortunately you two have to deal with man and their laws and their legal system.
