Unfortunately, it always falls on whatever side of the coin that you are on. If you side with the tas”erz” or the tas”eez”. We had a situation at our business where my own cousin was upset because a guy hired him for a days work and after working hard all day, he was only paid a forty ounce beer and a few dollars. Well, a fight ensued and someone called the police and a “black” police officer showed up and asked my cousin to put the lead pipe down and assume the position while he was holding his gun and everytime my cousin would lean down to put the pipe away the officer would be putting his gun away and my cousin picked the pipe up(they kept going back and forth) finally my cousin made a sudden move and the officer shot him in his midsection(liver/kidney) area and my cousin was held for months in the infirmary/jail for psychiatric evaluation. Well my cousin had earlier threatened me because he did not want to wait to get paid for doing a little cleaning of the floors and bathrooms emptying the trash,etc for our store. With him being a known mental patient/drug addict), the officer did the right thing because he was very angry at the contractor(who left the scene) and wanted to really hurt him(the contractor). So who knows what he would have done to the officer because he WOULD not put down that lead pipe. Thank God that the officer did not shoot to kill. Unfortunately, police officers have to use tasers, nitesticks, etc to even an uneven playing field while they are trying to do their jobs.
